WHY or WHY NOT

At last night's debate Mike Gravel brought up an interesting point in that Barack Obama claimed that he wouldn't take money from banks and from lobbyists. Mike Grave's accusation of was denied by Obama last night and he even refuted it by claiming that the reason why Mike knows about the "bundlers" is because of the legislation he has helped passed. After the debate however CNN proclaimed that Barack has not passed such legislation and it is evident that he is being supported by lobbyists and banks. If Barack is lying to us now why wouldn't he lie to us if he is elected president?

I was younger and under influence by my family, but now I feel that I help screw over this whole country and regret it. I only hope that we can make it to the day he is out of office.

I just feel horrible voting for the monster.

Joe Stalin, Chairman Mao, and Mr. Adolph didn't care about popularity. They ran the country as they saw fit.

THAT is true leadership.

Imagine if the funding that went to the Iraq war had been spent on our public school system instead. I want to vote for candidates who make education a top priority. Who are they?

Bill Richardson said the GOP suppresses the minority vote during last nights "debate" or whatever that was.
Do you think this is true?
Did Tom DeLay do it by redistricting voting districts to break up the black vote? What about Florida in 2000?

The democrats says they we should end the war now and pull out of Iraq, Congress have the power to end it right now by defunding the war so why won't they? I have a theory here it is, they will not do it because if they do and there is dire results in that aftermath they will be blamed for it.
Now if they can browbeat Bush into withdrawing and there is a bloodbath afterwards they can all scream it's Bush fault, I can't think of another reason why they won't do it are they just BS artist.

...Many states register "voters" based solely on utility stubs, local address, and maybe a DR liscense. Recently Texas was "embarrassed" to find that their prospective jurors were NOT US citizens... (seems the jury pool is taken from registered voter rolls)
...Why has there been NO demand ( or even noise) for a Federal data base that correlates birth/death records???? In todays technological world, identifying a US citizen should be a few mouse clicks away. Yet every election, we joke about how many dead people vote ??
...Given the vast influx of illegals & the easy availability of fake papers, Should citizens be worried?? Its always been easier to "game" a system than to break it or change it.
...Should citizens be worried? Has our ability to govern ourselves become a joke since with a little funding from xxx anyone can get a voter card???

Why is it that when Real Americans want the laws of our nation to be upheld, we are called racist? And we have people like Obama supporting them and giving speechs at their meetings? The Catholic church wants amnesty, which is no surprise because 99% of the illegals coming over are Catholic. Doesnt anyone else see what is going on, and how the diseased liberal agenda has brainwashed America?

It is as if, instead of listening to or reading anything he says or does, they base their judgement on rumors and outlandish tales from anne colter.

That is kind of lame.

I thought it was interesting but there was no debate.. just the typical one liners for the papers. I think it will be stagnation as usually if any of the top 3 dems get elected.

In the democratic debate tonight Mike Gravel brought up an interesting point in that all of the top-tier candidates such as Hillary Clinton are receiving contributions from CEO's of major cooperations, Bankers, media sponsors, well mostly people that have money and the power to influence the media. Seeing that these candidates are being backed by these people do you really believe that if and when they are elected they will be working in the best interests of these major contributors (Big Business) or do you truely believe they will have Average and poor Joe American in mind when they are making decisions? Why would some of these CEO's and big busnesses be interested in supporting a democrat who would idealy do very little to support big business. In the end however, it's just like Mike said if any of top tier candidates are elected you won't notice any changes.

Did anybody notice that within one week of the Mayor of Los Angeles (Villagarosa) endorsing Sen. Clinton - he announced his divorce from his wife of 20 plus years? Co-incidence? or do you think Hillary may have a need for a Hispanic on her ticket to run as Vice President? By the time the elections come around - His divorce will be forgotten? Just curious........????? This could also add diversity to her ticket against Obama.
