If it's Hillary, I'm leaving the country. My mom will take me and my family to England with her citizenship.

Right now as it stands the most likely winner of the election is Sen. Clinton. She's been gaining support like a freight train over the last couple of months and whether you like polls or not, she's the front runner in ALL of them - including when she's pitted against Republicans. The Republicans are in big trouble and they know it. If the war is still raging in Iraq and they don't do something about the general perception that this Administration is corrupt, they'll have about as much chance as Foghorn Leghorn to get elected. Here are some recent examples that highlight their enormous problems:

(AP) And the leading Republican presidential candidate is ... none of the above.

The latest Associated Press-Ipsos poll found that nearly a quarter of Republicans are unwilling to back top-tier hopefuls Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, John McCain or Mitt Romney, and no one candidate has emerged as the clear front-runner among Christian evangelicals. Such dissatisfaction underscores the volatility of the 2008 GOP nomination fight.

In sharp contrast, the Democratic race remains static, with Hillary Rodham Clinton holding a sizable lead over Barack Obama.

One thing is certain. Given the poisonous political environment created for the Republicans by George W. Bush by his disastrous, no-win war in Iraq that resulted in the stunning loss of both houses of Congress by the GOP in the last election as well as historical trends in which one major political party almost never wins three straight consecutive presidential elections, the Democrats are clearly favored to take back the White House in 2008. Unless Bush pulls our troops out of Iraq or Bloomberg runs for President, most likely the next President will be Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Jeff- what is the weather like on the planet where you live. All polls show Dems winning easily almost regardless of who the candidate is. Dems are not saying 9/11 was an inside job - that is the Ron Paul loonies. Dems are not saying Bush is hitler - that is just what you guys choose to hear because you cannot defend the real valid criticism aimed at him.
When you guys come to actually debate the issues that are on the table (eg health policy, immigration reform, ending the war - all courtesy of the Dems - what do Republicans believe in other than continuing to strengthen AQ by staying in Iraq?) rather than the ones you pretend we stand for - you may stand a chance again.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama of the Democrats might win the next election because the Americans are tired of wars that were waged by the Republicans.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

think Hillary will get the nomination and be hard to beat. however it is a long way out.

I think the only Republican who can beat her is Gulianni, whom I might even consider. But the conservativs don't care for him and if they back a third party conservative (quite possible) like Thompson or Brownback, then they divide their vote and put the democrat in the white house for sure.

I think Hillary wins a squeaker with Bill Richardson (Gov. NM) as her running mate.

Hillary Clinton unless the Republicans have the sense to nominate Ron Paul (and they're obstinately refusing to do that at the moment, though his supporters may just shove him down their throats anyways).
