What network are you watching, and what do you call "Democratic" airtime? I suppose if you count the time networks like FOX spend vilifying the Clintons as Democratic air time you could claim they get more coverage, but you would also have to exclude the carefully timed speeches and press conferences from the White House as well.
The bleeding heart Liberals complain about the "corporately controlled" media, and the Bush leaguers whine about "left wing bias." With both sides bleating about it I bet the press is staying fairly balanced, FOX excepted.
FOX, sadly, practice journalism the way Xaviera Hollander practices sex. From watching them it would be hard to guess that Mencken or Murrow had ever existed.

There is a Republican CNN debate in September that will give the Republicans equal air time (and closer to the election actually). The number of debates and who would host them are about equal in the end, but were set up a time ago and agreed to by both parties.
I am a Republican and think our schedule is much better in the end.

This is the same argument as behind the Fairness Doctrine.
It assumes that one or the other side DESERVES equal air time.
Air time is earned by market pressures, by people themselves choosing what they'll listen to.
How many times have we seen stations change their political stripes when faced with lack of listeners!
Where do you think Republican talk radio comes from!
No Fairness Doctrine, period. Competition keeps both our parties honest and strong. When we remove it, we get corruption.

I'm pretty sure they don't. For every Democratic debate, haven't we scheduled a Republican debate?

Not at all. Let the leftists talk. The more exposure they get, the better for all of us.

It seems like the liberals and bleeding hearts are always in the news. When Hillary was involved in Whitewater one one think she was just being persecuted. Same way with Billary, he and Monica were just good friends. That stain on her dress got there by accident, if one were to believe the press.

I did not know that, nor do I care to know that. ....and I'm pretty sure MOST of America could care less about the "air time".

They have better answers, and better answers eat more time, because they care about the American People more. So they deserve the extra time.
