Experience, speaks plainly,(no foofoo), is direct, seems highly intelligent, haven't seen any mud slinging from his camp, (yet). It's not a done deal but so far I like what I see and hear - he doesn't mince words.

I think that the reason to like him is his deep foreign policy leadership and experience. Foreign policy is really, particularly important right now. I've watched Biden for years on those Sunday news shows on foreign policy, and he has always had a really impressive grasp of the issues and a straightforward, balanced way of presenting the information. You don't have to look any further than last night's debate for an example of what I'm talking about. Biden called out the other candidates about the misleading rhetoric about leaving Iraq, and then the others (Hilary at least) proceeded to sort of backpedal and explain that it would take awhile, be complicated, have negative consequences, etc. Biden forced a more real discussion.

It is kind of interesting how Hilary keeps emphasizing experience (obviously, to emphasize Obama's weakness) which, for me, every time makes Biden look good. But, I guess he's not considered a threat.

If foreign policy weren't so important right now and it was all about domestic, I could get more excited about Obama. He's so charismatic, very statesman like (I find), and I do feel like he is a breath of fresh air and has a little bit of a different take on things than many of the other candidates. And, of course it would be great to finally have a black President (or a woman, or a jew, or many things...). Anyway... foreign policy is my answer.

Though I don't think he has a chance I love the guy. He definitely shoots from the hip. His inquiries into the Iraq torturing fiasco were a marvel. That grin, that sarcasm!

YES!!!

Oh my gosh. He is the only candidate who is honest, speaks truth, speaks intelligently, has PLANS, he is a straight shooter, and is unafraid. He is a leader!

He is so refreshing versus that sneaky, dishonest, and dimwitted administration we have had for 8 years.

BIDEN IN 2008!!

I like him. He has been one of the biggest surprises of the debates so far. I did not know much about him until recently. I think some of his off the wall comments in the past have hurt him.
