I thought it was interesting but there was no debate.. just the typical one liners for the papers. I think it will be stagnation as usually if any of the top 3 dems get elected.

The Youtube questions were not interesting because the videos overwhelmingly defeated the issues.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

I thought it wasnt that good either

I thought alot of the question were pretty dumb or
were question based on a preconceived premise rather
than question that really challenge the canidates other
than coming up with the answer on the fly/.Alot of the question seem abit softballish. The other issues I had is that alot of
question seem to be choosen for entertainment value
rather than how challengining they were I get the debate
has to be entertaining but at the cost of an intellegent
dialouge??Thirdly instead of having like 3000 question
like they did they should picked the better question
and let the canidate answer those.Lastly I thought
some of the video went way way to long before
the actually got to the question. Were the editor asleep.
I think some of them needed to be trimmed down a little

As far as the answer goes I thought they were not
really given enough time to answer the questions.
Not that it matters becuase alot of the time they never
gave a real answer anyways

Over all it was kinda of sloppily done and needs alot
of improvement if they want voters to take that type
of debate forum seriosly.I hope they make improvement
for the republican debate but I doubt it

I've been saying all along that there is plenty of time for individual candidates to self-destruct and that it's too early to really be able to tell what's going to happen come election time. However, after this "debate" (which it wasn't), I'm beginning to think there is time for an entire party to self-destruct if they keep this up! The American people can see through those canned, "on message" statements that don't even reflect an appropriate answer to the questions and the American people aren't going to like it. If these politians don't start "answering" the people, someone is going to come along who will and THAT'S the person that will win. Not any of those who were on that stage last night!

I thought it was very interesting. You say stagnation? There is nothing progressive about where this country stands right now. Republican conservatism has given us the best example of stagnation in the last forty years. America in that time has languished, and a modern progressive is in order. Go Hillary.

The problem with the "youTube" type questions, you can cherry pick the ones you want. It would appear they did just that, trying to ruin the concept. Heaven forbid tht the avera American have concerns and the elected or those seeking office would have to answer to the PEOPLE.

I thought it was embarassing. It showed the level of intellect (or lack there of) of a certain segment of our population with the way they behaved and asked questions.

I agree with everything you said. I hoped it would be truly innovative, but there were the same old evasive answers and posturing.
