A really large problem with this country is a huge number of voters look to the polls to see who is most favored by other people and they vote for the most popular person.

I say lets get rid of that. Lets make those political polls illegal so people would have to vote without knowing how popular a candidate is in this or another region.

This is pure academic question: What do you think?

Indians never think about their vote is how valuable one...They are ready to cast their vote to useless/illiterate/dadhs/etc...most of the people never franchise their vote also.

I believe Falwell would make excuses for the devil if he was a registered Republican. Newt's probably looking around for his next affair. Watch out coeds at Liberty College.

I am one of the most honest people you will ever find. Even with children in college I still left a job because of the dishonesty that was "running wild". I just feel it's really time for a change! It's just gotten too crazy out there and we truly need someone to represent us well. Bush has people around him who are the decision makers so it really wouldn't matter that I don't know everything about everything! I have six wonderful children who like anyone else found some trouble to get into. I have six beautiful grandchildren who could use a little "Nanny 911" at times! I am 54 yrs. young, have lost 50 lbs. and I don't want to "Wait on the World to Change". I want to make it happen NOW! My husband & I have been married over 36 years. I know commitment. I am a very funny person and I have a big heart. I believe EVERYONE has to do their share to keep this country strong. I really need to earn a great income also! I will work hard to earn every penny! Thank you!

You guys keep voting him into office year after year. Then you want to beat down a man like Bush.

Seeing as how a simple misplaced period in the programming could through an electronic election machine off and cause it to elect the WRONG candidate, twice, I wonder; should the American people DEMAND paper ballots?

They're still in use all over the world, but not here. Hmm. I wonder why?

SELMA, Ala., Mar. 4 -- Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), describing himself as "the offspring of the movement," paid homage Sunday to the civil rights protesters whose violent beatings here at the hands of state troopers and sheriff's deputies 42 years ago sparked national outrage and led to legislation ensuring the voting rights of African Americans throughout the South.

Just a few blocks away, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) claimed the same inheritance, describing the civil rights movement as "the gift that keeps on giving" as it propels new types of politicians onto the national stage. Their simultaneous appearances at the annual commemoration of one of the most famous moments in the civil rights struggle embodied the historic nature of a presidential race in which an African American and a woman lead the Democratic field.

That lady was highly qualified yet folded under pressure. I am worried that ladies can't handle the pressure and this should serve as a warning.
Can you imagine Hillary falling in love with Bin Laden during a US crisis?

I am not racist or sexist but i was curios on who would be more likely to win an election a black male or a white female. We have had neither and i wanted to know who you think the SOCIETY in gerneral would more likely support. I have talked about this with my friends even before the recent accounments of presidnetial canidates.

Do you find it odd that the Republicans are so quick to discuss their strong religious faith and the they always talk about the Democrats lack of faith when all three Republican top candidates are divorced (Rudy, McCain, Gingritch) and the top three Democratic Candidates are all married? (Clinton, Obama, Edwards).
I'll reference the site that said I saw it on:
