I don't know but my vote is for this angry black *****. They way you framed your question proves you are both racist and sexist.

Although some Americans might indicate in polls a willingness to consider voting for a female candidate, there are many (including a large number of Democrats) who simply do not LIKE Hillary Clinton, and would not vote for her specifically. Obama is facing a different dynamic--at present he is an unknown quantity. He has been in the US Senate only two years, and does not have any extensive voting record, or achievements in getting bills passed into law (since Republicans were in the majority and controlled the Senate in the last Congress.) Even now, he is battling the phenomenon of "Obama WHO ?" Right now his candidacy is a media curiosity. How he does in the primaries may determine whether he can gain active support among Democrats, and whether he could appeal to moderates across party lines.

I would love it if Obama won.
IF, either an African-American male (half, if we are going to be more specific), or a woman were running against each other, you need to consider the payscale. It will give you the best advice as to how our society perceives individuals.
If the average white male earns a dollar;
The average African American male earns 88 cents;
The average white female earns 76 cents;
The average African American female earns 68 cents;
The average Mexican male earns 56 cents;
The average Mexican female earns 49 cents;
The average Native Indian male earns 36 cents;
And the average Native Indian female earns 32 cents.
I would say that the payscale implies acceptance and probability.

Ideally, hoping US learns from history, the candidate with the best portfolio of activity that has BENEFITED US and it's citizens. That wouldn't be the ones the media keeps focusing on or the ones with big $$ campains from 'special' interest groups (incl someone w/radical father or a Socialist leaning and scandals).

Obama! Our nation is in dire need of change and though I believe Hilary is very much capable of achieving that, I think Obama gives off a vibe that shows he can do it more effectively.

Since the primary is over a year away, it's far too early to tell.
