Small scheme of things...

It's not so much that they think the average person really cares about what they think regarding anything as it is that the people who write they're paychecks encourage them to do the puppet act that they sometimes do. If you'll look closely you can see the writing on the wall. Many celebrities, in fact the bulk of them, never say anything politically or don't tow the line. However, the owners of the Federal Reserve - who also control Hollyweird and the mainstream media by owning the majority shares of stock in many of those corporations continue to attempt to influence the American public towards their 14-point political agenda. Anyone who knows what that 14-point political agenda is can clearly see that it's working as based on the physical evidence of where many people stand on political issues. This all said while realizing that most of those who vote for the political agenda of the owners of the Federal Reserve will deny that the propaganda they put out (through the media, Hollyweird, many big corporations and academia) influences how they vote.

The bottom line is most Americans are whores. Most people will vote how they are paid to vote. If you can get some kind of welfare off the public dollar then you'll vote for the guy that gave it to you. Your vote is bought and paid for in that case.

Most Americans would be aghast if they knew that the owners of the Federal Reserve - who control our economy and run the most profitable business on the entire planet - are behind the liberal movement in America. Democrats will attempt to deny all of this. When was the last time either major party included in it's platform a plank that promoted the abolition of the private ownership of the Federal Reserve?

Politicians are puppets too! What you have read here is merely a glimpse of the iceberg that lies beneath the surface. Want to learn more of the truth?

Go to http://www.freedomtofascism.com and order yourself a copy of the movie Freedom To Fascism. Then visit Congressman Paul's website at http://www.ronpaulexplore.com and encourage him to run for President so we'll have at least one candidate who has a spine and is willing to tell the American people the truth about what's going on behind the scenes of the puppet show the owners of the Federal Reserve are running for your viewing pleasure.

They think we are so dazzled by them we will believe whatever they say and a lot of people do. I don't care who they vote for and personally am not interested in much they do except their performing abilities on TV or in movies. Their association with a candidate might influence me to vote against them.

no i dont care who a celeb votes for, but the celebs do know that they have plenty of power over the American people when i comes to helping them make decisions...why do you think celebs get millions for endorsing products?! because the American people would love to be a celebrity so if they buy what their favorite celeb uses.
For example: A woman who just thinks that George Clooney is the hottest man and he has such a great personality in his movies....would probably vote what he votes just because she highly respects him. (remind you that it is really just the facade that he puts on that she loves)
That's why they think that their opinion is the greatest opinion when elections role around, cuz they know people will listen to it.

Particularly on matters of economic policy. Most of the Nobel Prize winners in economics over the past few decades have had a stong laissez-faire position. However, Hollywood Stars, many of whom have only a high school diploma, know much more about wise economic policy than, say, Milton Friedman.

Because their entourages tell them they are important.

I tend to vote against who they support.

My favorite was Propostion 87 here in CA. While its intent was noble (alternative fuel research by taxing oil production), it would have created a bureacracy with zero accountability and effectively been a gas tax because the oil companies would simply have cut production in the state, incurring increased fuel delivery costs and charging more at the pump.

That Warren Beatty, who really need not worry about the price of gas from day to day, spoke in favor of it, told me it needed to be defeated.

I wouldnt imagine that they would influence my vote..but they have the right to voice their opinion regarding politics just like anyone else. So it really doesnt matter if you care about their opinion or not..not everyone may care about yours either.

Many people do. They tend to be young, and foolish.

Yet, after time, because they live in a country that has free speech, they will hear, despite themselves, ALL the arguments on all sides and eventually come to a reasonable assessment on most subjects.

I love free speech. The celebrities have it.

So do we. Keep speaking up.

The only good thing about celebrities is the entertainment on the screen (big or small), and our CHOICE to turn them off. They are allowed to air their dirty laundry to the public, and just cast them as the whores and hypocrites they are. Such as them on politics, global warming, environment, etc. All of them pollute the air, water, and land we all live on and in, and then complain. More dirty laundry.

Why do you think the republicans hunt for actors to run for office, the ones in public eyes, books, TV, and movies.
They know how to act what other reason to would there be to vote them in.

Maybe they figure because they are very visable, they can influence more people or reach more people, but they would not influence whom I vote for.
