I wonder why Obama calls himself? Black or white?

If he calls himself Black, does he insult his white mother?

If he calls himself White, do we call him crazy?

Does it matter?

a lot of people I know aren't voting for her because they don't like her/find her appealing as a person. I was wondering if I could get some websites or an article reference bearing more information on this candidate.

Also, I'm not here to taunt you on your vote. I actually don't know very much about the candidates besides what the media shows, so I'm just trying to get some info. Thank ahead of time.

Is it because he is black, and according to democrats "articulate and decent for the first time"?.,

I mean this guy got nothing special, and with this othing, he rocked the political scene like hurricane, and became# 1 topic for liberals. (whate ones). and even here, 20 % of topics - Obama obama obama...

Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama, already fighting over the anti war vote. Has the Democratic caucus gone mad? Is Howard Dean leading the Democrats in the right direction?

In the last congressional race, the more conservative Dems beat out the Republicans.

Does anyone believe that going to the left will win elections?

Seriously...have you considered he may indeed be worth keeping an eye on as we "reel" towards the next presidential election? Any thoughts on his admitted drug use? Any thoughts on his lack of experience but his honesty and what appears to be genuine concern for the people of the USA?

Barack Obama believes in the death penalty, civic unions(not gay marriages), and abortion rights. He never voted for the Iraq war, and stands by his honest name. Vote Barack Obama!

Well everyone is making a big fuss out of a Sen. Hillary Clinton being a woman but most importantly making a big fuss out of Sen. Barack Obama being black, questioning his christain religion, and calling 10 years as a senators ( State/US) inexperienced. What do Republicans have to offer?

Rudy Guliani- He lacks of experience, has only been a City Mayor nobody's asking him to be a US Senator ot Governor first. He is also Pro-Choice, meaning he supports abortions. So do you Republicans really agree with that?

Romney is a mormon. So guys are usually pretty serious about Christianity, why dont you fuss about that. Atleast we know that Obama and Hillary are really Christians!

McCain is your last hope but I don't know how well he'd be able to run against the progressive Democrats when half of America wants a change. At 70 years of age, McCain represents an older generation of politics.

The only candidates I hear about on the news anymore are Hilary and Obama. All the networks are favoring the democratic side --more specifically the minority status of it. Just the other day there was a special on Obama and Hilary and their views, while they had a 10 second blurb of a combined republican side and how they're all the same.

I just feel as though the networks are getting around the "equal Time Rule" by fitting their favorites within the allowed exceptions, i.e. interviews, documentaries, "on-the-spot" news event (like they just happened to be in the area), and so forth.

abuse of the rule?

your thoughts.

I'm curious what people out there think of Mitt Romney, former MA governer who is running for president. And people accused Kerry of being a flip flopper? Romney's views simply parrot those of whatever audience he talks to- When he talks to liberals, he professes to be a liberal, and claims to be pro gay. What he's in front of a concervative crowd, he's suddenly a homophobe. As MA governer, he would insult MA when he was visiting more concervative states.....
Why would anyone vote for this flip flopping pinhead?

Does it lend too easily towards militarism, or military leaders more concerned with winning the White House then effectively dealing with the enemies we face? Serious answers please.
