It didn't seem to hurt bush. Of course he lied about his history. But obama doesn't have a chance to win. He will make the race interesting.

If anyone is honest enough to say a thing like that about his/her past and has a proven track record of staying clean...I'd trust that Obama is honest enough to run, but still not sure if he's really ready to be the President...Only hope next time around, we can all vote for a real person or even humane being for that matter, someone that doesn't have to only show us the money, especially when there are really more important issues to get our country back in order.
Politicians are the real culprits, because they're usually just selfish, and greedy idiots!!!

How would you like to be judged by youthful indiscretions? Most of us grow up - mature - regret many things we done. Unless he was a major drug lord contributing to deaths of people directly or indirectly it should have no bearing - provided it was many many years ago with no signs of addictions.
I would remind you that President Clinton not only smoked Marijuana, but confessed to having an affair! he's done even far worse but never got caught on those and the American public did not care - and thats scary.
I will never vote for Obama, even so, it has nothing to do with his youth activities.

Does it mean you are a terrible person because you had a drug problem in the past. Of course not. Everyone in this world, including you is tempted to do wrong or has mad mistakes. I use to have an alcohol problem, but I don't anymore, and I know I am not a terrible person. He admitted it, most everyone, including some some of our most famous people have at least tried it. You ever heard of forgivness? I'm sure you have skeletons in your closet. Everyone does, no one is perfect.

Do you think that the President should never have ever wanted to try drugs because they always new they would be the President and that it would conflict with this? Think about it. Unless of course it was as resent as 25 years, or came with jail time, or was a repeat offence. You know?

There are few today that hasn't tried some form of illicit drug, including Rash Limbaugh! The Rich's drug of choice is cocaine! I bet there isn't a major party thrown in the US that doesn't have coke available!

I don't know,,,did he enhale or not??? I wouldn't worry too much. He will be ripped apart by the Hillary connection. He stands a snow ball chance in hell of getting the nomination. A lot of very influental people in our county's history have made mistakes. And I used to be a huge user and if he truelly doesn't do it anymore what's the big deal. He knows it was wrong and now that he's been there he can help others.
