Would a 10% national sales tax provide adequate revenue for the U.S. Treasury? What would be the impact of such tax other than simplifying the US tax code? Who would benefit most from such a tax?

HILLARY CLINTON ON OCTOBER 10, 2001: "He (saddam hussein) has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members"

HILLARY CLINTON ON MARCH 7, 2003: "I ended up voting for the resolution after carefully reviewing the information and intelligence that I had available."

HILLARY CLINTON APRIL 24, 2004: "No, I don't regret giving the president authority because at the time it was in the context of weapons of mass destruction, grave threats to the United States, and clearly, Saddam Hussein had been a real problem for the international community for more than a decade."

HILLARY CLINTON ON JANUARY 27, 2007: "The president took my vote and others' votes and basically misused the authority we gave him. Obviously, if we knew then what we know now, there wouldn't have been a vote I certainly wouldn't have voted that way because it would have been a mistake, and I don't make mistakes"

And THIS is who democrats want you to vote for in 2008?????

I have heard and read sooooo many people complain that Bush only won the election by the votes of the Electorial College. However, this is how our elections have been voted on for quite some time.

WHEN WAS THE ELECTORIAL COLLEGE IMPLEMENTED? AND HOW MANY PRESIDENTS HAVE BEEN ELECTED SINCE THAT IMPLEMENTATION?

firmly believe that if the Republican lobbyist did not intervene in the 2000 primaries John McCain would be our sitting president today and things would be far better. McCain would have beat Al Gore in a landslide in 2000 ending any trhought of a stolen election which drove the Democratic base out in droves in 2004. Kerry could have never been able to stand against a Vietnam Veteran in 2004 thus another windfall for the Republican party would have been achieved.Senator McCain's ability to court Democrats very well could have proven to help the Republican party gain even more seats in the 2006 Congressional elections instead of us losing the majority. Vote for John McCain in 2008 for a better America and for a better world.

He made a fortune suing folks and just built a milti-million dollar mansion in North Carolina. Also when he was our senator, he had a terrible record on attendance while in Washington for his term.

She has only a few years Senate experience. Sure, she was around the whitehouse, but many people have been "around the whitehouse." She's never held comparable elected office prior to being a Senator. She went to law school, but many women do that. Is she only the "front runner" because she can raise the money to be? Is it not about being qualified?

Even Barak Hussein Obama has more direct legislative public policy experience than Hillary.

The race for the White House is beginning to take shape. Many citizens of our great nation are prepared to flip the page into a new generation. Which candidate do you support to lead us into the new era and why do you consider them to be the most qualified? Please feel free to share your opinions and hopefully enlighten us all.

I personally support Senator Barack Obama due to the fact that he comes across as a very honest indivudual who is not afraid to keep any secrets. He is unquestionably a very talented speaker, very educated, charismatic, as well as a man of strong character and conviction. A lack of experience in politics is just an excuse seeing as he has been at the forefront by connecting with the american people and staying active. He reminds us all of the things our country should and is supposed to stand for: that the color of your skin nor the name you are given should be the reflection of who you are.

Don't answer this question if you are a fat, nasty liberal who thinks Hillary Clinton will be your sugar mamma if she becomes President. I want to know what Republicans think about Giuliani. People say he's too liberal on social issues, but I think the people saying that are liberals. They say he isn't going to do anything about illegal immigration or prevent more abortions. Is he really too liberal? He has a book out. Giuliani: Leadership is the name of it.

I believe that the best man to do the job is sen. Ron Paul. He has been in the senate since 1976. He has the best ideas on how to fix America top to bottom

For the upcoming '08 election...what do you think the chances are of a Giuliani/McCain or Clinton/Obama team-up? All four seem tremendously popular, so aren't we headed for a huge split party vote if they each run independently? Too early to tell? And if so, who would be running for President, and who for VP?

No there arent regular republicans on here, but crazy republicans. What bothers me are the insults and pure ignorance without any effort to attempt to educate. Why are people still calling Sen. Obama a Muslim? Do you want to learn? Democrats are talking directly to Al Quaeda? How ridiculous, just because they made a comment about Dems now thy are friends forever...lol! I don't get it it's almost like you guys want our country to stay divided and continue to destroy our good relationships with other countries. Do you see the problem, the big picture?

People hate us for more reasons than simply because we are Christians.

IDK, this is shocking. I think you had to confirm that you were a crazy republican /civil war supporter/Anti-American (you hate Dems here & Dems are Americans too) before you log on the Yahoo! Answers.
