The race for the White House is beginning to take shape. Many citizens of our great nation are prepared to flip the page into a new generation. Which candidate do you support to lead us into the new era and why do you consider them to be the most qualified? Please feel free to share your opinions and hopefully enlighten us all.

I personally support Senator Barack Obama due to the fact that he comes across as a very honest indivudual who is not afraid to keep any secrets. He is unquestionably a very talented speaker, very educated, charismatic, as well as a man of strong character and conviction. A lack of experience in politics is just an excuse seeing as he has been at the forefront by connecting with the american people and staying active. He reminds us all of the things our country should and is supposed to stand for: that the color of your skin nor the name you are given should be the reflection of who you are.

None of the candiates i see running seem to have any qualities I would vote for:_
OBummer.. what has he done other than write two books and aspire as Oprahs pawn?
Hilary , well she supported the war in Iraq and she couldn't run her husband let alone a country in turmoil!
Guiliani? well theres a typical candiate that belongs with all the other crooks US has elected. What will his "gate" be called Mafiagate?

Then theres Bush for another go.. "Wargate" "Orleangate" WMDgate.

Nope better find some more none of thos look too good at all!

Perhaps get Arnie in Terminator! that sounds tough and no nonsense Yep I will Support Arnold Shwaznegger

You would support someone with absolutely no experience?

Just because he is "connecting" with some of the American people isn't the qualification to run this country. George Wallace connected with the people of his state. That sure didn't qualify him to be governor!

Obama is so honest? What about his shady land deal? He rivals Harry Reed in his ability to con the voters.

Barak Obama, because he is of mixed parentage, young, energetic, good christian, a good orator and highly articulate, HAS required experience ( more than Rudy Juiliani ) AND represents the younger generation of today and sounds like Abraham Lincon and JFK at the same time. A best choice for America in centuries, no exaggreation.

I'm waiting for the real candidates to pop up later in the game. Currently all we are seeing is vote gathering for the party. If Hillary or Obama get into the White House it will be as VP. Remember what Bush taught us...Its not who people say they are going to vote for, but who they actually vote for who wins.

I'm caught in a quandary between supporting the BEST candidate for this country (Jim Gilchrist, Constitution Party) and someone who might be able to beat a liberal Democrat who would be bad for the country.

I agree with you. Obama is my choice so far. Ive looked into his record and it matches his rhetoric, which needless to mention, is an extremely rare thing in politics these days.

I value honesty more than anything else in this race. We need someone who can not only heal this country, but heal our relations with the rest of the world. He seems like the perfect guy for the job.

To this point, probably Guliani.

Barack Obama, and all liberals, are enemies of the United States.

By "United States" I mean the civilization defined by the Constitution.
