Im not a racist but with a name like that does he really think people will vote for him?

I've got nothing against the guy, I'm just being realistic because I know the mind-set of many Americans. I just wanted to hear what people actually thought. I'll be happy as long as we get Bush outta there

I don't care what race he is, or what his name in. I vote on his performance as an official elected by the people. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. He is part of the far left and I wouldn't vote for him. He stands for everything that I am against. He is a Socialist, not only pro abortion, but he is for partial birth abortion which is barbaric and has no medical need and is only done because the woman considers the CHILD an inconvenience, and to me this is murder of a child. I think anyone who is in favor of it should have to actually witness in person the act of this evil and barbaric practice before they are allowed to cast their vote in favor of it. If they still want it, then they have shown just how evil they are inside. He is not pro-Constitution. He has voted for bills in Illinois that go against the basic fundamentals of the Constitution. He is also anti- Christian. He claims to be one thing but acts like another. He is not a true person. The far left will vote for either him, or Hitlery Rotten Clinton and that is all who will vote for these people.
I wonder how many thumbs down I will get from the far left on this one. lol

From what Ive seen so far, I would vote for him in a heartbeat.

Im glad that I have to wait though, I want to get to know his positions a little bit better, although hes made them clear enough for me so far.

Your question I think is insulting to Americans. Do you actually think most Americans are stupid enough to not vote for a candidate they agree with because of his name or his race?

Why did you bring his race into the question? His mother was white, and that makes him legally white. Just like Tiger Woods is legally Oriental (Thai mom). Dinah Shore's mother's mother's mother was black so she is legally black.

You take your mother's race and your father's nationality.

After listening to the guy, I have no intention of voting for him of any other liberal scum! I don't care if his name is George Washington Lincoln Kennedy Roosevelt.

We will find out soon enough. If you think the Republicans are scared of Hillary, imagine the look on Cheney's face if Obama wins. It is possible that Obama is a Republican plant and he is running just to siphon off votes that Hillary or Edwards would have got. I put nothing past the Republican party, they will stoop to any depth to continue to rape the American tax payer and keep what power they think they have.

Ability of person make him elected as leader, not skin's color.
For your kind information Mr. Kofi Annan, Secretory General of UNO is also Black Man.

I'm remembering something... it has to do with "book by its cover..." what was that again?

Not that there's anything wrong with a black, African-named cover.

I may well vote for him. According to studies, "Generation Next" is the most colorblind generation the USA has seen, so I may not be the only one, either.
