I saw a question with the "additional details" that "it's time to give a woman a chance at the job." Well, we all know what woman is running, but should you vote for someone you otherwise would not just because of gender? How is that differentiated from sexism?

It may be true that a woman could do a better job than the current president, but isn't that like damning with faint praise?

I just thought about how would elections be if the VP was elected in a separate election instead of having a joint ticket and be VP if the Pres. candidate wins. I also thought how this could help future Pres. candidates by making them face the voters and have experience. I'd like to hear any answer!

I am not a registered voter yet as I missed the date to apply for the election card. Is it possible that someone can illegally include me the voters list and use the vote that I am entitled to? Why arent voters cards issued all through the year instead of just before the elections?

Being originally from KS, and having met Brownback several times, wouldn't electing him be the equivalent of electing Pat Robertson, Jerry F., Jesse Jackson, or Rush Lamebaugh?

Can the President of the United States dismiss or "fire" the Vice President? Technically, the President chooses his VP and the people vote them both in. Lame question... I know! haha

My premise is that we are victims of a 2 party system. I submit to you that most of us are moderates. Our political leaders and the media have convinced us that we are either Liberals or Conservatives.Republians or Democrats. Right wing or left wing. Whatever you want to call it. This is especially true around election time.

Look at President Bush. He is an embarrasment, but if you are a Republican, you can't admit it. If he were a Democrat, likewise. We have to be loyal to our party. I am 77 years old and I've been a Republican , a Democrat, and presently an Independent. As an Independent, I am not represented.

We need a third party called the Moderate Party. I hear about Democratic Moderates and Republican Moderates, but who are they and what is their platform?

Let's hear for the Moderates.
