I think that he has a good shot to win it, but Newt Gingrich thinks that Hillary Clinton is going to be our next President.

Guys, guys! John Edwards is not a crooked, filthy rich ambulance chasing trial lawyer. He truly represents the middle class and the less fortunate. He is an inspirational man and I feel he is the most genuine politician in America. His campaign is very welcoming and is focused on getting word out and acting on the things that we want to change. John recently got back from a trip to Uganda where he visited some of the many poverty-stricken areas. He has a diary entry on his website detailing his trip. He is a fanominal humanitarian. Yes I'm sure he is wealthy from his career as a trial lawyer and is that his fault? All politicians are wealthy and his career benefitted many many people. He is a completely selfless individual and a true class-act. Please visit his website at johnedwards.com and learn about who he is and where he stands. I supported him in 2004 and I will support him yet again in 2008.

If he's a joke in North Carolina, I'm on his side, because North Carolinians still think Strom Thurmond was a good guy as far as I can tell.

Let's see North Carolina voted him out of office maybe they know something the rest of us don't. We don't need another Jimmy Carter type clone in the white house.

I think John Edwards is a viable candidate as you can see here he stirs up the repuglican hate machine and anybody that they do not like, I do like. He is a threat to them or they wouldn't attack him with such vigor.

Take it from a NC resident, he has charm and charisma but he is a big fat liar. If I hear "I was the son of a mill worker" again I'm gonna scream. He quit his post as Senator after 2 years but what the heck, he only showed up to vote a few times anyway.
Don't believe anything he says. He ran is campaign for Senate as a sweet Christian moral man and after he was voted in he voted non-Christian, non-morally, and disappointed many of us.

Im from NC, and I dont like him. He does seem to get better at his speaking skills. But there are two things that I wont vote for: someone who is pro-abortion and someone who is pro-amnesty for illegal immigrants. I know Edwards is pro-abortion, Im not sure about his stance on immigration. Those two issues are the most pressing in regards to domestic policy.

I don't trust him any more than I trust Bush, he is trial lawyer for christ's sake, a good trial lawyer, research indicates that reflects a serious psychotic condition. Most lawyers exhibit at best borderline sociopathic tendencies.
