I would start by contacting the Democratic National Convention or the Republican National Convention. Then you have to file a lot of paperwork, and I believe you have to put up a certain sum of money.

1st you need a whole lot of cash... Then you need a ton of luck! I think is goes state to state and they require filing fee, petitions and a bunch of crap like that to get started. I wish I really knew the complete answer but after surfing and reading I can only tell you that you have to be at least 35 and born in the US, but these are the qualifications and help in no way of actually getting the girl or boy next door on the ballot. Maybe be someone who doesn't really know anything. America seems to be wild about letting actors & singers tell them what is best for us even though their own forte is acting & singing, not political science, law, engineering, physics or anything else remotely-qualifying for this field of venture. "If the blind lead the blind,..." We need people who care AND are knowledgeable experts to be serving this nation, not a bunch of ignorant, greedy, personal-agenda-driven, ego-maniac jerks.

Have lots of money support abortion and crack and your in there. Most all officials act and vote like there on crack so make that a key issue in your election. You got my vote
