Being originally from KS, and having met Brownback several times, wouldn't electing him be the equivalent of electing Pat Robertson, Jerry F., Jesse Jackson, or Rush Lamebaugh?

I would almost be ashamed to admit that I took the time to meet him! You did get paid for debasing yourself like that I hope!

No, doesn't bother me at all. Two reasons. First, Brownback has his heart in the right place, and doesn't make wacko predictions like Robertson or Falwell. Secondly, he isn't truly electable anyway, so why get all flustered about it.

Truth be told, I didn't even know he existed until your question. It doesn't make me ill because its a lost cause. I also wouldn't put Jesse Jackson in the same sentence as the others. He's got a lot more sense than they do.
