You like the your right for a fair trail and a jury of your own peers, but you hate the idea of serving in the jury. Those that make sence? Some people say its boring, tiring, and aggravating. Why? Its your civic responsiblity. The only thing you should dislike is the idea that you have some one's life in your hands just by simply voting.Grow up!! Who AGREE or disagree?

I have jury duty this week and have learned I will pay federal tax on the money I earned. I am proud to do my civic duty (and I am a freelancer) but then you are taxed! I think that law is asbolutely absurd! Anyone agree?

I saw an injured deer lying by the side of the road today. I was not sure whom I should call. I knew if I called the police, that they would just come and shoot it. I know the animal might have been so badly injured that putting it down would be the humane thing to do. I'd still feel better if I knew of an alternative agency to call; someone who might try to save the animal. And I know better than to try to approach the injured animal myself. In the end I called the police, figuring it was been to call them than to do nothing and leave the animal suffering in pain.

what do you think...should policemen and firefighters be given awards such as bravery and such when they are just doing what they were sworn in to do in the first place? I realize that some of them do a great job and all but to give them a special award to pull a person from a burning car or to save a woman from being shot and killed by her drunken boyfriend....Is'nt that just part of the job? i thought firemen are suppose to run in burning buildings and save lives!

Wikipedia and Yahoo Answers are good examples of on-line talent utillization. Google has translation technology that can aid in Global response. How can we harness this powerful tool to resolve relevant issues?

Obviously there will be the routine contributors of flak and chaff but that's the penalty of a public forum.

Is there anyone else interested in taking up the challenge?

when he offers Rove and Miers but not under oath? Is he really going to try to say that the scandal doesn't go deeper if he's not willing to give the American people any legal assurance that they're not lying?

I'm mostly wondering what he could possibly be thinking.
