Facts would not support their arguments. Their arguments are only supported by feelings.
Liberal live in a no logic zone.

The Federal Home Loan Bank Board reported in 1988 that fraud and insider abuse were the worst aggravating factors in the wave of S&L failures. The most notorious figure in the S&L crisis was probably Charles Keating, who headed Lincoln Savings of Irvine, California. Keating was convicted of fraud, racketeering, and conspiracy in 1993, and spent four and one-half years in prison before his convictions were overturned. In a subsequent plea agreement, Keating admitted committing bankruptcy fraud by extracting $1 million from the parent corporation of Lincoln Savings while he knew the corporation would collapse within weeks.
Keating's attempts to escape regulatory sanctions led to the Keating five political scandal, in which five U.S. senators were implicated in an influence-peddling scheme to assist Keating. Three of those senators — Alan Cranston, Don Riegle, and Dennis DeConcini — found their political careers cut short as a result. Two others — John Glenn and John McCain — were exonerated of all charges and escaped relatively unscathed.
Neil Bush, brother of President George W. Bush and son of former President George H. W. Bush, was director of Silverado Savings and Loan when the institution collapsed in 1988, costing taxpayers $1.6 billion.[2] Neil Bush was accused of giving himself a loan from Silverado with the cooperation of Ken Good, of Good International, although Bush stated it was not a conflict of interest

And yet if I recall correctly it was primarily the conservatives who:
1. Forged documents saying that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq when there weren't.
2. Wanted to ban gay marriage on no scientific evidence at all that homosexuality is actually evil.
3. Decided to shift more of the tax burden from the rich onto the poor, which in economic circles is widely considered a bad choice.
4. Said that sending people to Mars was the next goal for NASA when it was obviously less effective than many other courses of action.
It seems quite ridiculous to me that anyone would accuse liberals of ignoring facts and leave the conservatives out of it.

Because. We don't fall for Bush's scare tactics.
Can't you see?
There have been all these "attacks" that Bush warned the American people about. And how man were true? None.
There were no weapons of mass destructions, 9/11 didn't have anything to do with Iraq, we don't want to seal our houses with duct tape, and we have our own minds. We realized that we have one of the dumbest presidents in history on our hands and don't want to fall under his control.
The facts are fake.

Liberal or conservative doesn't matter. There are quite a lot of folks at both ends of the spectrum who would rather not have facts interfere with ther opinions.

Sort of like the Republicans do...The bottom line is that both sides have no clue what the truth is.

Because when you are losing an argument, you go for the easy way out: name-calling. I saw on the O'Reilly Factor one day when an ACLU lawyer tried to use something he read on the 'net to a senator (I think) to win his point. She not only corrected him, but used more facts from the same site than he did. After that he abandoned the argument and accused her of pursuing her own agenda. I thought it was really funny.

You mean the way Bush 'uses' facts? Your question doesn't make sense. I'll have to go ask why republicans don't make sense.
