She's nothing but gutter scum and she can apologize until doomsday and I wouldn't spit on her if she was on fire (I wish). I prefer to exercise my rights as an American by not seeing her movies and not purchasing the merchandise she promotes and generally ignoring the fact that she's breathing perfectly good air that other people could be breathing. I would not spend a dime on her or any company that employs her. She doesn't exist.

I can see that some of the answers of the people did not spend on minute protecting America. Those are the people in the war that should be really asking this question.
Jane did things she did not have permission from the U.S. government, there for she acted on her own, causing deaths of U.S. service me.
It does not matter how many times she wants to say she sorry, she killed people through her actions and should pay the price for it.
Being a rich movie star has kept her form being tried for her crimes, and the fact that every President wants the movie stars to back them in their run for office.
If they started to punish them for their actions they would lose support.
But the People of the land could drum up enough support to have her brought forth and tried.
Yet some 40 years late, what could they really punish her with. I sure even in the U.S. law the time limit has passed.

Good Gawd, the woman has apologized and apologized, what do you right wingers want her head, like Saddam Hussein's? I suppose you're all so bloody perfect you've never done anything wrong or that you regret?

You know you right wingers preach about how great America is and how free you are and how you have freedom of speech, as long the people speaking agree with everything on your agenda.

You right wingers are unbelievable. Give it rest with the Jane Fonda thing and the John Kerry thing and go clean up your own houses, with Karl Rove and Scooter Libby and the Attorney General Gonzalez and the other criminals from the GOP administrations in the last forty years.

I'm glad every ones past lives are so perfect. She was wrong for what she did. Anyone with a little age on them, can look back on their life and go "Boy I did a dumb thing." It can't be changed, the only thing we can do is try to forgive her and hope it makes us a better person

What terrorist acts? She went to Hanoi and voiced support for the N. Vietnamese government, which was a despicable and wrong thing to do. But what terrorist acts are you talking about?

Don't mislabel - it makes EVERYTHING meaningless.

The closest charge you can come up with is "aiding and abetting the enemy" and quite frankly, she can claim she was under duress.

In addition, the statute of limitations ran out long ago.

Whether her actions were treasonous, is up for debate. Yes, she did comfort the enemy and make radio broadcasts to encourage them. But she didn't give them any money or information.

She's apologized for it, but quite frankly, the apologies don't seem very sincere.

she was a traitor not a terrorist. she took bits of paper bearing SSN of the men and when she had gathered them all she turned them over to the guards. most of the men were beaten to death afterward. for those that say she apologized, I challenge, is an apology enough for causing several soldiers deaths?

She was given a note asking for help and gave it to the Cong. She should have been forced to fight in the war with her Cong buddies and gotten what they were getting...KILLED!
