For example, there is a young man, i've been listening to in and around ATlanta , who has been a Community/Neighborhood activist for 7 years. Recently this young man received an award for his service in the city of Atlanta. I talked with this young man, and he's very witty, highly educated, he has his MBA, and speaks like Barack Obama(he has passion in his voice) and I think he is grooming himself for Mayor. In two years if he runs, I am not sure many people would support him because of his age. So does an experienced politician get your support, or would you support a person with passion, and who's worked for many years helping in the community?

Politicians & Pro-reservationists in India are crying, saying that the minority classes have been

deprived of basic amenities,education,social-status by the brahmins, khsatriyas & other higher

classes for centuries.
But are they themselves(Minority Supporters)not creating the same oppression/crime today?
In this modern age under democracy, according to constitutional "EQUALITY OF RIGHTS" Why Should

there be bias regarding right to education/job between General Caste & Reserved Class? They are

getting admitted to colleges at 45% marks whereas for us the Criteria is 50%.They are getting age

relaxation of 5 Yrs,we are not.
They are getting many other benefits in the name of a "CRIME" committed by our fore-fathers.
This is like if someone's father has committed a theft, his kins & relatives will get punished for

that...
The fact is that the real minority like the tribals,poverty-ridden minority families & the

under-priviledged are not getting all these benefits. The Creamy Layer amongst them is taking all

the benefits...
Is this fair enough??Is this "EQULITY OF RIGHTS" as depicted in Indian Constitution???
Will this not create a social-imbalance?There was so much to say & ASK?
Should such blind politicians in be supported?

Today, the best solutions to Humanity and public welfare are brought out by democratic debates through Political institutions through out the world. But the implementation of such solutions are hindered by vested interests through the judicial-system of the land, which has defeated the roots of democracy or thebasics of Human-welfare.

I'm about a year away from getting my Bachelors in Communications. Is it possible to get a PAID position for a political campaign if you don't "have connections" like family in politics? I have private sector experience but I also think there could be a demand for campaigns since I would graduating right around the presidential primary time.

Can today’s gangs ever unite, for the benefit of the community, as the Conservative Vice Lords once did? Or will it take another tragedy, such as the Rodney King beating which indirectly led to a truce ending the Blood vs. CRIP bloodbath? Gang leaders posess the same leadership qualities required of politicians and business managers. Can they use these leadership roles to better their communities, as opposed to turning on their communities?

As long as communities remain divided amongst themselves, they will never rise to their potential. Louis Farrakhan once said, "The conspiracy is not right now... the conspiracy happened over 400 years ago in slavery... When they taught black men not to trust each other. And here it is 400 years later you guys still don’t trust each other and looking each other as opposition so y’all gonna have to change.

The federal $5.15 per hour minimum wage will be increased to $7.25 by 2009. The last increase was 1997. In the last 10 years Congress has increased there own wage now at $165,200 per year. Most members of Congress were already million airs before they went into politics. I am happy. The 29 States that have a higher minimum have not reported the problems that Republicans have used as reasons for not giving the increase.
The vote was 315-116. 80 Republicans joined Democrats in passing the wage increase. Bush will veto this bill, if it does not have tax breaks for the wealthy corporations included.
