The Internet for people? THE INTERNET WAS CREATED FOR THE MILITARY TO COMMUNICATE OUTSIDE OF NORMAL CHANNELS. It was never about the people.
As for the initial question, the law is the law. Bit Torrent works on a legal loophole and is technically not against the law but you are still ripping off the industry the is ripping you off quite possibly because a lot of other people ripped them off and so on in a vicious cycle that never ends.
Part of the downloading ethos is rebellion. It isn't about getting things for free. Embrace that outlaw culture or wise up and follow your moral compass and your conscience that is obviously already bugging you.
Validation from a group of strangers won't make "illegal" downloading OK and poverty does not excuse crime.

There's one answerer above who thinks that poor people should not waste their time reading books and watching movies. Silly. All people want to read books watch movies whether they are poor or not. Somtimes i can't believe how heartless some people can be when answering questions here.
And also, you don't have to have a computer and internet access of your own to download movies whatever. You can access your friend's internet, or the free internet in libraries or schools, or internet cafes. Many options!
And there are many free downloads on internet. As long as they are free, then my answer is: Yes poor people should download them free.
Let capitalism give a break to poor people once in a while. At least, until there's no free dowload available on internet.

To download it is illegal but we do not have the choice sometime so sometime we have to over-pass our moral values

Nope, not ok. That's what libraries are for. Shoot, I get most of my books at the library and I'm in the "upper middle class" bracket.
