I support my troops, but who do you think has the most modern and effective military next to the United States? Is there another country in the world that has the technology and training to match ours? I was watching the military channel and it seems that we have no equal military wise. Is that true? im talking about both parties, sitting here looking at the q & a's it kinda makes makes me sick looking at the ignorance and hate. there is nothing wrong with disagreeing w/our gov or each other it is our right but why the play ground antics? i love my country and all the diversity that in it and would never wish anything ill upon it or my fellow citizens.

I am located in Wisconsin and having a contract dispute with Verizon (based out of New York) . The call center office I get when I call them is located in Illinois.

Questions:
1. Can I legally record my conversations with Verizon employees?
2. Can a company like Verizon (that is operating as a merchant) legally require me to NOT record my conversations with them? I believe privacy laws are intended for private citizens, not merchants.

Wisconsin, New York, and Federal Law only require 1 party consent. Illinois law requires all party consent.

Article IX of Japans Constirution states:

To date, Japan has not recognized or even accknowleged it culpability in starting WWII. For most Japanese I've talked to on this subject, history ends in 1932 and starts up again in 1945. Between those two dates there was a WAR Japan lost and the United States dropped two NUCLEAR BOMBS. No Manchurian insident, no rape of Nanking, no Panay insident, no Battan Death March. If you mention any of these things you get a blank stare and an embarrased attempt to change the subject.

Hello my husabnd is new to the amry so far its been by far a favorable exprience.He was in an tiral of a new advanced basic due to his high pt score and asvab- basic was not near as bad as either of us expected. During his AIT arrival he was moved several times and there have been placed on lock down as well as mass punishment. He stayed in processing for a month or so it very over crowded at this time. I was not able to join him becasue its not considered a pcs move. I check his AKO account reg, and found out on v-day his frist staion is Korea. Its so hard to imagine him gone we do have 2 kids one of our children does well but req special medical care. I have been told he can turn down an assisment is this true? We would be okay with Korea if i could go. I work full time I am a nurse this transistion has been very hard. PLease give me any info as far as korea or hopefully getting his orders changed. Thanks for any info.
