I think it's a shame that people on welfare get to pick their Dr.'s and a person who served this country is limited to a VA hospital that may not be close to home.

Correct, I understand. I don't make a great wage or a bad wage, but insurance would kill any chance of living even poor so my son is covered through child health plus and I will be covered during my pregnancy (expecting my second at the moment) by child health plus.
I am not against people having medical insurance, I just think that Vets deserve better medical care then someone who doesn't work and has made themselves a baby machine to stay in the system.
I work darn hard and I can't afford insurance. My son's aunt served this country and she has to go a half hour to some VA hospital, which from what I understand is no better then a clinic, to get treated.
It's not right!!!
