Sen. John McCain of Arizona commanded attention in that hearing room, too. The 2008 GOP presidential prospect, a supporter of Bush's troop increase in Iraq, explored the consequences of pulling out of Iraq.

"It took us a long time to recover from losing a war in Vietnam ," he said in a reference to Vietnam, where he spent five years as a prisoner. Of course the way we are going we will lose Iraq too. We will see shame soon. No way can this country win in Iraq due to it being like Vietnam.

He talks very simply and pauses between each word to create dramatic effect, what would he know about the reality of war when he hasnt experienced it himself, how can americans vote for someone like him? most people iv talked to can plainly agree that he isnt a good leader even most americans agree...how can someone who presents himself so badly be in power?

Why does that make me bad? "Speaker got no clue" is for homosexuality and ignorance and I am not. My opinion is important too. It does not make me unpatriotic.

It is illegal to burn the American flag, because that amounts to a desecration. That is according to many politicians. By that same logic, shouldn't the possession of a confederate flag be outlawed, since that ALSO amounts a desecration of the American flag? Our union is threatened by the burning of the American flag much as it is by the flying of the flag of our previous civil enemy.

i really wish the gov't would stop touching everything i do. i'm a big boy, i can take care of myself. i don't need medicare, social security, minimum wage, or health care provided for me because i can do it myself. i wish congress would stop treating me like an idiot who would go to work without my pants on if they weren't there with some pants-on maintanance program...when the fed's mess with stuff it tends just to get bigger, more annoying, and inneficient. ok, i'm done ranting, sorry. feel free to answer the question if you'd like =)
