This happened months ago but I'm still ticked off and wondering what happened. There were some women in there looking at watches under a glass case saying "I want a Seiko" very loudly. I was looking at the cheap $15 watches displayed on round racks. They kept staring at me. When I left, a city cop approached me and said some people said it looked like I took something. He asked why I looked nervous and I asked him wouldn't he be? But he was nice and searched my purse and let me go b/c it was obvious I was innocent.

I called the store the next day and they had no idea what had happened. They said they had not called the police. Then I started to wonder--woudln't they have confronted me themselves if they suspected me of stealing? Would I even have gotten to my car in the parking lot?

Was I, perhaps, a decoy for those women? Did they, in fact, steal a watch, then call the cops on ME to distract everyone while they got away? Who is responsible for what happened to me?

once an absentee dad is served with child support papers that say he has 20 days to begin paying or to respond for a hearing, what happens if he does NOT ask for a hearing but also does not start paying. Do they start garnishing wages instantly, or do they send him to jail? Or do they do anything at all?

Is the president required to hold so many in his term, is it something that comes up after a heated series of events, or can he hold as many as he wants (or as few) at his discretion?

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested 24 men suspected of being illegal immigrants Tuesday at a popular Southeast Baltimore gathering spot for day laborers.
The arrests quickly sent shockwaves through the city's immigrant Latino community, prompting advocates to hold a news conference hours later denouncing the action. Of the 24 suspected illegal immigrants detained by authorities, Raimondi said, six men had criminal records, three had final judges' orders of removal from the county, and another eight men previously been physically removed from the country, in cluding one who had been caught at the border six times. Do you agree with Bush's outline on immigration and border control in the State of the Union address? Why no why not? Should we secure our borders more? What are your own ideas on how to be able to control the borders and illegal immigration?

Does Mr. Bush have your trust and condidence in this matter?

" ``We cannot fully secure the border unless we take pressure off the border -- and that requires a temporary worker program,'' Bush said, repeating language he used when first outlining his goals.

Bush's immigration plan was blocked by his fellow Republicans in the House last year. The president may have a better chance of getting his way on immigration with the Democrats in control of Congress."

I went to a doctor visit and needed to take an x-ray. I paid a co-pay of US$35 and when I asked for my x-rays at the end of the visit they said they kept them and asked if I wanted copies. I said yes, since I have always kept the x-rays and exams I get done (while living in South America), and they said each copy would cost US$16...Is this right? Could I have insisted on taking them, after all I paid what I had to pay and the insurance pays the rest???
