And why does this question evidently violate Yahoo's TOS?

Bush is pretending to be a good ole' boy, just like he is pretending to be a Texan and pretending to be the elected Commander-In-Chief.

The reaons this violates Yahoo's TOS is because they are trying to become the Fox News of the Internet, so they are systematically purging liberals, libertarians and anyone who doesn't worship President Bush.

You should read the wikipedia article for the "word" nucular. I just read it after the State of the Union address, and apparently, the mispronunciation is fairly widespread. Several US presidents have been known to use it, including Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Some dictionaries even list it.

That;s how people from west Texas pronounce it....including some brilliant scientists. It used to bug me, but learned that;s just a regional thing.

Most people say that's not my forte, when refering to something they don't do well,

Correct pronunciation is for-te, but misuse has made either acceptable. Another is sim-u-lar instead of sim-il-ar.

Cause saying words funny on national TV is cool. If the cameras showed Congress's face while he was talking, half of them would probably cracking up.

I'm sure that his "handlers" have told him repeatedly that the word is "nuke-lee-ar", but Bush is a law unto himself.
