I'm off ill and there's some workmen out side of my house building two new houses across the street. none of them have hard hat or safty boot on. there is a sign they put up saying that all protective stuff should be worn. is it ok for them not to have any of the proper gear on while working on the site?

I see the average pay of a GP is £106K

Do you think we have a right to know what all public paid employees earn, or would an ideal system be one where we TRUST the system to pay doctors appropriately, rather than subject such a personal part of thier lives to tabloid headlines.

If you work in the council, how would you feel about your salary being posted on your neighbours kitchen table ?

This is not a question on how much doctors earn, just about thier job conditions being public

I bought a Craftmatic adjustable bed from the company in scottsdale AZ, and they told me that if I sent the check to pay it off to their company, they would forward it to the finance company. A little over a week ago I did, and then the finance company called and told me that the company I originally bought the bed from had gone out of bussiness and sold the franchise to this company and this company told them that they were just going to cash the check and pay off some bills, even though they obviously knew I would have pay off the finance company again! I managed to get the check stopped in a nick time but it still tics me off. It was for nearly 3,000 dollars. What is your oppinion?

I keep reading that this one or that one "does not have enough experience". No one can possibly know what it is like to be president until he/she becomes one. What would it take to prepare oneself? Wouldn't honesty and integrity be enough? (Though you wouldn't find a "politician" with either, I'm afraid.) How about intelligence?

When in the statment it has the same "M.O." as the last one.
Always in cop programs and films.
I understand that it is the same set up or signs/clues or signatures. What I really want to know is what it stands for ,why is it used and when it dates back to.

This is a serious question, so I'm only going to consider serious answers. It is said that the reason the selling of body parts for transplant is to prevent transplants from only being available to those who can afford them. But since you have to have the ability to pay for the operation itself before being considered a good candidate, what difference does it make if some transplanted organs were paid for?

If you think it should remain illegal, please give a credible explanation. If you think it should be legal, please explain. If my premise is incorrect, please let me know.

OK. So US invaded Afghanistan. Then Iraq. Now it's about Israel and Iran?
Surely they are stretching the boundaries of logical reasoning???
Is ANYONE swallowing this?
I used to laugh at conspiracy theorists but now I think I may just become one.

I ask because there is reason to believe that Iraq must be dealt with now in order to put it back to at least where it was before Bush illegally and more importantly, immorally invaded it. Yes, Iraq is a mess as John McCain has been saying.

My problem with McCain is that he is allowing the farce we call 9/11 to go unpunished. Trust me, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. A complete fool could see that. Look at me. I see it. Call me a fool, again.

And if you look at the evidence and the governments official 9/11 story, it's so seriously questionable that only a fool would allow it to go unpunished. This is my chance to get out of fooldom.

I ask this question about McCain, because I WANT DESPERATELY to believe in something, but anyone who allows 9/11 to go un-INVESTIGATED, at the very least, just ain't right.

All I can say is that if I ever commit a horrible crime, I hope the government puts as much effort into catching me as they have into the 9/11 truth.

Thoughts?

okay lets say you get pulled over for a possible dui and you ask to go to the hospital to get a blood test then you get a ticket (never go to jail) then the dmv calls you and tells you your licence is going to be suspended but you havnt been convicted of anything by any court. does the right to a quick and speedy trial apply? so basically if you dont get a trial set in 45 days does that mean that your chances of a dismissal are good... thanks ohh and i dont drink (thank God) so save the dont drink and drive comments
