China for the obvious reasons....didn't they just knock down a satelite?

The Eu if it were to become 1 with member states would make China look a laughing stock. Its a damn site richer to start with, has a huge economy ( $3trillion more than the US ) and has been under pressure from the US to slow down its rapid growth.The EU has refused in all parts bar the military where downsizing is taking place although a large force from any country in a time of need is easily gained. Its military if combined would still be 2million strong with another 2million in reserve even now. The EUs getting stronger every day so its more of a chance of becoming a superpower than China or India have. This alldepends on whether it ants to become one though

It is India and India alone which can give leadership to the World. But India must first have a leader worth the name. So far we have sycophants around a woman (Sonia Gandhi) who does not have the up bringing to be a national leader. Other political parties have criminals as leaders like Lalu Yadav, Sibu Soren and Mulayam Singh with clear criminal records.
May be with the passage of time better persons might come to active politics in India.
