In light of the recent deaths of 4 Canadian soldiers who were giving out candy to Afghanistani chidren...Why are we fighting someone else's war? Statistics indicate that Canadian soldiers are 6 times more likely to die in Afghanistan, than a U.S. soldier in Iraq. Why do we want to copy U.S. foreign policy instead of being the great diplomats of peace that we once were?

I understand the fact that you want to protect your religion. However, trying to start riots over every word uttered or you feel is an insult has been taken too far.
No other religion is as sensitive nor as ready to back up those beliefs with guns and bombs. Having religious conviction and standing up for your rights is one thing. Taking every remark and turning them into a reason to become violent has gotten to the point that people are going to turn a deaf ear to your concerns and whining.

What do you think? Is this whining gotten to a point that it is out of control or do Islamist have a right to complain and kill in the name of Allah still?

Why do Americans celebrate their English forfathers resilence on Thanks giving then celebrate kicking em out on independence (it smacks of double standards!)
I am from England and like Americans and don't mean this to be confrontational. I was just musing!

“I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force — if necessary — to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security.”

Isn't it hypocritical of the US gov. to denounce the growers of foreign, addictive, harmful drugs, while allowing the US to export tobacco? Wouldn't our money be better spent than in Columbia or Bolivia?

Like 4 example, police beating & gang up on children then accused them as gang-bangers.
Aren't the police are suppose 2 be our so-called friendly authories? Like suppose 2 held justice 4 wrongdoings,killers,drug-dealers,rapist & bunch of crooked folks, instead they ALWAYS accused blacks, hispanic, mexican, indians & poor folks as the villans! Now i don't understand why, that how come, when TRUTH is serve,no 1 believes it,yet the authories are gettin away with alotta crap, tho!

Few other countries are so proud of torture that they would want to shamelessly publicise it.

Not only do they love torture but they are so blase about the murder of civilians that they felt the massacre at Haditha didn't even need to be investigated (until forced to by the media).

When faced with the Americans, EVIL IS THE ONLY WAY TO FIGHT EVIL.
