It has been reported that China is continuing to build up its forces. It continues to abuse human rights in a flagrant fashion. It constantly bullies and threatens its neighbors in the Pacific. And interests in the U.S. continue to call for cooperation with this regime that is fundamentally opposed to everything America stands for; freedom, tolerance, democracy, and human rights. Based on these facts, do you believe China is the new evil empire of the world? Do they seek to take over Asia and the Pacific? Will they challenge America's position as a superpower? Could there be a war between the U.S. and China?

Angie is a brilliant, talented and beautiful woman. I believe she has the brains and heart to govern California. Not only would she put a beautiful 'face' on California, but I believe she would make decisions in the best interests of this 'blue' state. And she has already proven her dedication to causes of great civic interest.

How come we knew these so-called experts were wrong in the 1970's, but now we believe them? The Iraqis will be too busy fighting each other to come after us after we leave. We need to spend the money on keeping us safe at home, not causing bitter hatred towards us in the Middle East.

George,
The post war generation in Germany has paid billions of dollars in compensation to the Jews for the crimes committed by their Nazi forefathers. What advice would you give the comming generation of Americans, when the next generation Iraqis sue them for trillions of dollars for all the murder and mayhem that you have committed in Iraq?

" HIS UNUSUAL ASSOCIATION AND RELATIONSHIP TO THIS PRESIDENT, AND PERHAPS TO THE BUSH FAMILY - RAISES QUESTIONS ABOUT HIS OWN LEGAL STATUS - AND PERHAPS SHINES THE LIGHT ON WHY IT IS THAT HE REFUSES TO ENFORCE THE LAWS OF THE USA - ESPECIALLY IMMIGRATION LAWS - AND WHY HE ADAMANTLY, IN EVERY CASE - TAKES THE SIDE OF THE ILLEGAL INVADERS WITHIN OUR NATIONS BORDERS. IS HE - A FORMER REAL ESTATE LAWYER - SERIOUS ABOUT HIS OATH OF OFFICE - OR IS HE AN INSIDER WITHIN THE BUSH CAMP AND FAMILY? DOES HE REALLY VIEW HIS CONSTITUTIONAL DUTIES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK ESTABLISHED BY OUR FOUNDERS - OR DOES HE APPLY HIS DICTUM THAT THE CONSTITUTION IS AN OUTDATED PIECE OF PAPER - WHEN IT COMES TO PROTECTING THE CITIZENS OF THE USA FROM THE ENCROACHMENT OF ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS? I know I might've lite a fire under few people's a**es with my last two questions, and i can say I got the affect I wanted. I do have to say I am a proud person but not too proud to admit I was foolish in my last two rants. However I do still believe people in this country need to look and weigh there liberties and how great this country is. Yes we have some short comings but lets for once hear someting good about this country.

I want to hear something that people like about this country we call our home.

iraq is a joke, unfunny joke.the pentagon now admits civil war is unavoidable.....yet bush and his people still clamour about delivering democracy..lol....the goddam nation is erupting and bush is still waving his flag and pretending this will somehow end in a way that benefits the US.......it is clear this war is nothing more than a power grab and a redistribution of money, into the hands of those who create war and keep people fearful.

They should be put on the front lines in Iraq and Bush should give the terrorists the green light to catch them and cut off their peckers and torture them slowly, if caught.Agreed?

I have been a registered voter and a licensed driver for over 25 years in FL. My last name starts with "K". I have never been called for jury duty. Someone told me they start with the beginning of the alphabet every year and sometimes never get past D or E. Someone else told me I must be on a blacklist somewhere? Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how this works?

Let all crimes against this nation not be jugded by colors but by obviuos invasion from South America, namely Mexico as to the Militia taking a defensive stance against invasion protected by the people. The rest of the country will side with the south one day hopefully not one day too late!

Not like that spineless liberal wimp Bush. We need someone who will kill the muslims by the hundreds of millions, not by the tens of thousands. Personally, I like that Santorum guy for the job -- he would ban birth control in the USA while he's wiping out Islam.

Now I know all members of the parties fall into this category so if you take offense to my remarks, this question targets you.
Neither political party is doing any good for this country. They were meant for like minded citizens to group together and vote for someone who was in line with their views. They were not meant for politicans to use for their own personal gain. This split we have in our country is the fault of the party leaders who only have the parties views in mind and not the views of the people who support it. They are not agreeing on anything and our indecisiveness is being mocked by the entire world. They need to put differences aside until the current issues that are so important right now are resolved. They will not do this as they do not want what is best for us but what is best for the party. Politicans are using the party for personal gain and we are being taken advantage of as it is not allowing anyone else into office. We do not have a real choice. Please comment.

Why is people feel the need to bash our leaders, and yet don't do anything but b*tch and moan in chat rooms and coffee shops. Also if our country is so incompassionate why is that millions of people each and every year give up everything they have and pick up and move to the US and still thousands die before even reaching our borders or shores. Do people understand that we are the greatest country in the world and we have to keep things in order and be the one making those tough moves.

I guess my question is, do people living in the US really hate this country so much and think it is so horrible? If so, why do you stay?
