I was so proud or my country and supported our troops that I joined the Navy as soon as I could.
I have two masters degrees and could have made over twice what I am making now, but I look at my son and know that I made the best choice.
As far as those that disagree with the current president, don't confuse the question of support for the current president with pride for your country. You should all feel proud of your country because we all have the opportunity to say what we want, do what we want (within reason) and live in freedom. Additionally, our economic stance allows us to fight a war while most of America goes on without the thought everyday of rations and a personal level of sacrifice required. Just ask, how many of you have had to give up something, because of the war? Now ask your grandparents about WWII, what was their sacrifice?
Be proud of the fact that you do not have to like your president or Congress... you have a choice in Nov and that is something that many people in this world don't have.
In closing, if you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this and not go to prison, thank a vet!

I am very proud to be an American and live in this country. It is the greatest country in the world. It is the land of opportunity. I fully support our troops and appreciate everyone of them past, present and future. To anyone who isn't proud to be an American and to live in this great nation, go elsewhere. We certainly don't need you!

I am proud to be an American and yes I support our troops, My Sister is a nurse in the Army and she is over there now.

I'm proud yes, but not proud of our leaders at this time. And YES i support our troops 100% but do not support the war.

Even PROUDer to be the wife of a soldier, so yes, I support the troops (and would even if he wasn't in)!!
