I asked this question in anothre section but got bad answers so I figured it might do better in this section. My boyfriend is in the National Guard and went over to Iraq for a year before I met him. I love him a lot and I tell him this everyday. I don't have any trouble expressing that emotion. Also, I am so very proud of him and I am proud to be his girlfriend. But whenever I try to express that to him it just sounds silly. How can I tell him how proud I am of him without sounding mom-like? He really is amazing and has done so much for this country! For all of you soldiers: Would you like it if your significant other told you that he/she was proud of you?

Hello I'm trying to find out if it legal to have tri-citizenship. Being only 16, right now is prime to get my legal document done now then when I'm older. Both of my patents were born in Nicaragua (that’s in Central America). My mother though became an American citizen before I was born. I'm only a Canadian citizen right now, because I was born in Canada, but I want to become a Nicaraguan & American citizen through my parents. When I was reading my mother American passport it said that someone can loss there American citizenship by getting naturalized by a foreign nation and things of that nature. So I came to the understanding that if I get my American citizenship first then my Nicaraguan citizenship I run the risk of losing my American citizenship. What I'm wondering, is if I get my Nicaraguan citizenship first then my American citizenship after will it be all legal and acceptable by the all of these countries and not lose any of them?

Just kind of wondering why Bush thought this was such a good idea. Did you know that our troops in Iraq pay $3.00 to fill their vehicles and we pay $3.00 per gallon to fill our vehicles? My hubby's friend was stationed in Iraq. Can anyone remind me why we are doing this? Does anyone regret voting for Bush?...I didn't but I sure would! I can't wait until he is gone...hopefully the idiots who voted for him will think democrat next time.

We are just killing innocent people, theirs and our own! And yet there has been no benefit for either country. And members from Iraq please submit your answers and comments...is your life better or worse and even if it's worse...is it for the better down the road?

Everyone always cries "Education is so bad now!"

but then I see what the kids are doing... like algerbra in like the 5th grade... no one did that in the past... if your over 40 algerbra was like a senior in high school course... or even college...

they are doing stuff many people didn't even do in college in high school now...

granted there are some dumb kids out there... but there were dumb kids then that didn't know their head from a hole in the ground... one or two dumb kids don't make a bad system ... it just means that they are dumb kids...

what do you guys think? I think a kid from today's classroom could score decenly well on an SAT test, while a kid from a classroom from 30 years ago wouldn't even know how to start to do half the stuff on it...

My goal is for my wife to see the US while I have some free airline tickets and to see the family. I have about a month and a half before we are scheduled to leave. We are leaving mainland Japan going to okinawa so I just want to work the immigrant visa later after I PCS. Also curious how long the tourist visa takes.

"The stark evidence of growing fear and suspicion aimed at Britain's Muslims underlines fears that the country is becoming more polarised, with many young Muslims feeling alienated from mainstream society and the white majority feeling more fearful.

The fact that more than half the respondents felt threatened by Islam itself - despite mainstream Muslim leaders publicly condemning terrorists and extremists - suggests that many now see the issue in terms of a "clash of civilisations."

"The poll results came as Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly admitted that the doctrine of multi-culturalism - the cornerstone of left wing immigration and race policies for the past 20 years - may have been wrong, and contributed to isolation and alienation between communities."

I've long thought assimilation rather than multiculturalism was the only way to a united country.
