Do you mean the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia?
If yes then of course it existed and it is still a part of Greece!
{Entire north Greece is the province of (authentic) Macedonia (in proper Greek “Mακεδονία”).
The (Greek) Macedonia was the birth place of Alexander the Great and the ancient (Greek) Macedonians are responsible for the spreading of the Greek culture and language.
Still today some of the most important archaeological sites of Greece are the ruins of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia. (The city of Pella, the sacred city of Dion, the city of Vergina/Aigai, the royal tombs, and the city of Philippi were Apostle Paul founded the first Christian church of Europe and Greece.
There is also a Slavic-Macedonia (Republika Makedonja ) which emerged from Yugoslavia. That country is a Slavic state and it is not related with authentic (Greek) Macedonia. {Republika Makedonja is officially translated by UN (and officially recognized by UN and European Union) as Former Ygoslavic Republic of Macedonia (FYROM).

Yes MACEDONIA DOES EXISTS!!!!! It is one of the oldest countries in the world! Macedonia was divided in 1913 into three parts,Bulgaria took a part, Albania took a part and Greece has the largest part.When they divided the country the macedonians that live in Greece were stripped from there human rights, they were not aloud to speak macedonian!! They change names on all towns, villages,lakes and rivers!. Schools were only taught in greek! Who ever spoke the Macedonia lauguage was beaten! Now people in north greece speak the Macedonian lauguage, play and dance to macedonian music!!!!!!! But still we have a hard time with greece they would not regonize us as a country because we use the name MACEDONIA!! That is why today we are called FYROM(Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia) Because supposedly they now have a state in greece which is called MACEDONIA!! But go back about 15 to 20 years ago they said there was no such a thing as Macedonia. Now they started putting up signs when u drive into northern Greece that state WELCOME TO MACEDONIA!!! It is Macedonia but now they play mind games and clam that it is theirs!! They have called us bulgarians,serbians,slavs you name it they have called us!! Alot of people are going to disagree to my answer especially greeks!! I just want to say that if my answer is not true! why in Northern Greece today which i have been!!! People speak, the Macedoniain lauguage? which you people say is slavic macedonian!! why don't these people speak greek all the time?
