ABSOLUTELY TELL HIM! Tell him you love him and are proud of him. You do not sound mom like, you sound sweet as a button. Tell him I am proud of him, too, and tell him thank you for kicking those bastards asses! People need to support our troops. Tell him you love him for his bravary and courageousness. That sounds beautiful, not mom like. Do it now and everyday for the rest of your lives.

I don't think there is a way to say it and sound silly! I am proud of him too. I don't have courage enough to do it! If you want to say it in a special way maybe you could try watching some movies, read articles etc. about it that could help give you ideas. Then just personalize it. I am sure he misses you and loves hearing anything you say! Good luck to you both! Big thanks to him from all of us!

Tell him you love him and miss him and that you can't wait to see him. Tell him that you will wait for him and that you think about him every second of the day. Tell him that you will be there with open arms when he arrives no matter how long it takes. Tell him that you feel proud and lucky to have him as your BF.
That is definitly something his mom wouldn't say. His mom would say she is proud to have him as a son.

Say it once, and then be there for him. For guys, actions speak louder than words but its still nice to hear once in a while!
My Girlfriend tells me, and she supports me.
Sometimes it just the fact that he knows you brag about him and his accomplishments in the Guard that tell him you are proud!

You may think it sounds silly but I promise you while you are telling him how special he is his heart is racing a thousand miles a second and his hands are sweating and he will be shaking at the knees plus he will have an erection and I don't mean this in a bad way. It's just that he will be thinking of how to make you feel special. Do I hear wedding bells?

Your soldier needs to hear how proud you are of him, and how proud you are to be his girlfriend. That is probably the best constant he has while serving overseas.
You just keep it up, and know that most of us support him and you, and are in our prayers.

If you love and care about him tell him how you feel ,tell him that you so proud of him.......it will give him the Message that you recognize and respect what he is doing.
Coming from his loved one means the World to him especially if he is down there.

Well if saying "I'm proud of you" makes him wrinkle his nose then just tell him that he's awesome. Stroke his ego a little bit.

SHOW him don't tell him. Give him a card. Sometimes those are better for expressing yourself than words. Also show him with your actions.
