So I was looking at some of the dumb laws that some states have or had. Like here in california it's illegal for woman to drive wearing a house coat. Whatever that is. What I wanna know is wether these laws have been taken out or have they been truncated by newer laws? What if it hasn't been removed or truncated, are we still held accountable for them?

my ex is getting my 15 yr old drunk..what do i do??
my 15 yr old daughter is on vacation w/ her dad in california. its been 6 weeks. so far i know of 3 different occasions where she has gotten VERY drunk and her dad supplied the alcohol. last night i saw a pic of her on her myspace with her dad and some other guys drinking in Mexico. WTF?? ive called him and yelled. at them both actually. they both promise it wont happen again. the first day she was there, she chipped her front tooth on a beer bottle. she'll be home in 4 days, but im worried cause this will be her last wekend there, and i dont know what kind of parting theyll be doing to help see her off. anyone out there in california feel like hunting him down and kicking his a ss for me?? but really, what would YOU do? Im already never sending her out there again. this was the first time. here at home, she's a good girl.

you all have great advice. thank you so much! this has really been bothering me. even my other children are upset by it knowing what their sister is doing. Youre so right about taking her to Mexico. We do have a court order saying he cannot take her out of the US, and I know what he has done is illegal. I told him that. I told him I will have the cops there, and have them put my daughter on a plane. And I will take her to the Dr's. I know she has "gotten lost" with an 18 yr old while drunk, kissed a differnt boy while drunk, and who knows what else. This is heartwrenching:( She was still a virgin, I hope she still is. I wanna hurt that man. And WTF means what the *uck!! Thank you again, and please keep your answers coming. I'll put them all together and nail that irresponcible loser.

My ex works for the sheriff's department. I moved away to go to school 2 1/2 hours away. Suddenly, he's here and has been calling and harrassing me. It's scary. He says his actual work site is at least a 30 minute drive away from the city I live in. So why isn't he living there? He's smack dab in the middle of the city where i live. What are the chances that his transfer is just a coincidence?

The severest condemnation of Israel's destruction of Lebanon that any Arab government handed out came not from Saudi Arabia, the Keeper of Islam's Holy Places, nor from Egypt, the largest and most powerful country in the Arab world, but from the U.S.-occupied Iraq where the U.S.-confected Parliament passed a unanimous resolution of outrage against Israel's action and the U.S.-appointed Prime Minister openly joined Syrian and Iranian demand for an immediate ceasefire.

I can't even buy a house, but lenders are letting these people buy houses with only a drivers license, and how do they even get a license. I am confused, these people are getting more of the "american dream" than legal americans.

People always come up with these doomsday scenarios about $10 lettuce and $5 tomatoes. First of all, a price increase is inevitable even with a guest worker program, because once these people come from out of the shadows they will be making at least minimum wage instead of the $30-40 a day they currently make (about $3 an hour). Secondly, the U.S. economy will survive. It was only 10 years ago that we were paying 99 cents for a gallon of regular gas, now $3 a gallon is "normal" and $4 a gallon is expected. I see that people are still taking family vacations and buying SUV's despite the gas increase. You also have to take into account innovation (which we U.S. citizens are good at). If there's a labor shortage, look for someone to create an "assembly line farm" which produces a maximum amount of product using minimal labor. Pro-illegals try and scare people into thinking there will be some sort of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes scenario. Pleeeeease. The U.S. economy will survive.

OK, strange question from an american who grew up during the cold war. We were told communism was really bad and taught to hate and fear it. Alot of our money was spent and alot of american lives lost fighting the spread of it. But I have been living in China for the last year and now I don't get it. These people live the same lives we do, have the same dreams and the same problems. You can say they have no human rights, but they seem to do whatever they to. In fact, they are getting more rights everyday, and we in the usa seem to be getting less. Their government controls information they get and tells them lies? How about ours? We vote for representation in government and they don't? Do you really think your vote counts when the electoral college actually decides this? They have families, cars, homes, electric bills, they go to clubs and eat at restaurants, pay taxes, invest in their future. They get married, divorced, have lovers etc. Is it about religous freedom?Where is ours now?

I know they invaded because they captured some of their military...ok so now that they are tearing Lebanon up what are they going to do once they've completely taken over? What do you think they want....to me it seems it is obvious there is alternative motive behind the attacks..

Imagine this....a wall of Americans, hand in hand, stretched from California to Florida. I don't know how to make it happen but someone out there does. I propose a protest of our own. Americans against all this illegal crap, standing together, hand in hand, stretched from sea to shining sea. We can make our own border for one day, send a huge message to the White House, to the illegals and to America. If we get lucky we could stretch all the way around the east coast and so on.
Would you be there? Would you stand with a fellow American, hold a hand and show these people that we are not going to take it anymore, that we are strong and united and intend to fight for our country? We the People, for the People!!!! We can BE the border!!!!!

A lot of people say we shouldn't be in Iraq, and complain about all the money we've spent on this war. I don't agree we should be over there, but If I complain why, i'd complain about all the American soldiers that have died before I complain about the money. What do you think?

I feel I am being trapped there because I have tried to move out but everytime I apply for a rent application they turn me down because my jugdement still show NOT SATISFIED. I have asked the landlord to please file a satisfaction of judgement but she has been giving me the run around ever since. Along with raising the rent and leaving me with no air conditioning for 2 weeks in the middle of summer knowingly ignoring my phone calls about it after my first complaint to her over the phone. Plus the carport has collapsed from the storm as well as the front yard tree wasuprooted and there is moss growing in the walls from the roof collapsing in. I don't have the money to fix anything myself and I am not responsible for them either. My living situation has brought on a number of health problems for me the past 2 months so I have had to stay with a friend the days that I wasn't admitted and stayed in the hospital. I have a dog as well and need to move us asap.
