And is there a name for this disorder?

"Headinthesanditis", maybe?

Any other suggestions for what we can call this ailment?

Republicans do indeed suffer from a degenerative brain disease. After exposure to liberals and Democrats and their wishy-washy political agenda and refusal to see the world for what it is and accept reality, the Republican is slowly overwhelmed. Symptoms include watching the Communist News Network (CNN), glazed eyes and drooling while listening to news reports in which any Democrat speaks, and the desire to bash his/her head against a wall until blood appears after contemplating the state of this nation.

Sadly, until the entire West Coast and, hopefully, the New England region, fall into the ocean there will be no cure for this disease.

Well let's see, let's take a look at George W. Bush, he was a cheerleader in high school, during 9/11 he was reading a book UPSIDE DOWN to a bunch of children, he described hurricane Katrina as a massive, powerful, and destructive storm, which anybody with seeing eyes could recognize, so i think they are born brain dead. I think we should call it "mama put them on a short bus to school and told them it was an SUV."

No. They were born to be followers. They have no real opinions. They just spit out the talking points of what that they hear from all the hate Pundits like: Coulter, Limbaugh,O'Rielly,Hannity,Malkin and All of fox news. They are incapable of thinking for themselves. They have this intense need to all walk in lock-step and follow their Master Chimpy-Bush blindly without question. They brand anyone that disagrees with them by labeling them a liberal(Right wingers believe that they are the true followers of Christ)...They have created this liberal boogie man myth. This myth has been successful in polarizing this country. So Americans can rhetorically fight one another as thousands are being killed in the middle-east..Hmmmm, all this venomous hate that spews from their mouth's...Is that what Jesus would say? I think the name of the disorder should be Hypocrititus!

I think people of intellect that see the current political climate for what it is should not engage in any name calling. The idea is to see things through other people's eyes in order to get them to see things through your own. This doesn't happen when people resort to name calling.

I believe that both parties REPUBLICAN and DEMOCRAT have grown corrupt beyond our ability to even comprehend it. We let corporate interests turn our elections into "who do you like more?" giving us no real issues to even vote on. Kerry, Gore, Bush, McCain, it doesn't matter which sleazeball you choose because they will all sell out the American people in the end. The threat of Islamic Fundamentalism is a drop in the bucket compared to the threat our own government is posing.

Don't fall into the trap, left vs. right, democrat vs. republican, liberal vs. conservative, they ARE ALL SMOKESCREENS to get you thinking that you actually have a real choice.

You want to make difference, involve yourself in grassroots campaigns at the local level. You want to protect yourself, buy gold and silver. You want to change people's opinions, find out why they believe what they do first. But don't just call people names, that always negates your argument no matter how right it is.

My best friend in high school was a republican, She was the smartest person I knew at the time...(you know the type...she took AP Calculus but bumped into walls) Her family was mostly Democrat and exactly what you would expect from a Democratic middle class white family...Therefore I'm going to hypothesize she was born with this disorder...as for what we should call it? Maybe Ignorantitis or Truth-Blindness...

Whats wrong with fight for the rights of an unborn child? Your rights were fought for in all of the past wars that this great country has been in. Whats wrong with wanting to keep the Christian artifacts in and around our government buildings? Did you forget that this country was founded on Judao Christian Beliefs? Even the laws that keep you safe, are derived from the Ten Commandments. God blessed this country with his own hands. He gave us freedoms that are not found anywhere else in the world, and I'm sick and tired of you Liberal Democrates running his face in the ground every chance you get. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

At least Republicans plan, take a position and DO SOMETHING...the Libs talk, criticize, feel, belittle, get mad....and spin alot - create a lot of "light and heat" but don't do anything or go anywhere! They just want the power but never the responsibility.

I guess you don't like reality....you do realize that your party has gone down hill for 12 years, and most likely will not do much better this year? Sure, they may win some seats back....but they will not win 15.....and then once again....you will be feeling suicidal, and depressed.....you can always move to Canada, where all you Liberals seek is already there, and there is still more you can do to make them "better"

Regrettably - they actually have the most superior brains on the planet. It is that libs and Demon-crats are so empty headed they don't realize just what brains are. We do feel sorry for you ignoramuses though and wish you could get a life outside your empty selves.

I heard a new word, can't take the credit - Corruptocracy.

As I read more of their Q&A's I realize, they think the news is
biased, the schools are biased & of course, they think
Hollywood is biased - a little paranoid, I'd say.
