CNN showed a Marine getting sick and throwing up. The reporter stated the Marine was scared to death because the rag tag insurgents are kicking butt all over the place. How can the insurgents kick butt when the USA is the most powerful?

i got to hear kerry speak and meet him at a fundraiser over the weekend, he is a good and nice man. his speech was great and he is very intelligent, unlike bush. he said he may run again but isnt sure. but he had this to say about conservatives "I will not let them get away with lies ever again." it was a great turnout with close to 300 people. after the event it really hit me how this country would be so much better with kerry as president instead of bush. it was a great experience and i would like the chance of hearing another kerry speech in person.

Why is it that when the argument of stem cell, genetic sequence, and genetic markering comes up our representatives pander to the less informed with an argument that they could be the victims of "genetic discrimination"? We live in a world where the strong rule and the fittest survive, why would we think that we can turn our backs on a technology that will be explored anyway? Maybe its just me but it sounds like those representatives want to put the people in a position where thier discrimination is a definite. Any thoughts.

I openly express my disdain for Zionism and wish that this movement will come to a swift end, BUT...

What about the general population in Israel? they have, in most part been brainwashed since childhood to believe that ethnic cleansing of the non-Jewish population in the Mid East is an acceptable (if no laudable) practice.

The problem is, right or wrong, these people are human beings,too. So, if my wish were granted and Zionism beomes a thing of the past, what can be done to assure the safety of the Israeli population?

In 1969 I was told we would win in Vietnam. Yes! I was told that by my American Government. At the time the Korean Veterans were telling me we wouldn't win... ( I told them they were crazy because we were and are the most powerful military in the world ) My President said "We will endure! We will not turn our backs on the new Government of Vietnam! etc...Etc...( You know the rest of the "We will get um talk ) Well, I watched the USA cut and run from Vietnam on 30th April 1975 and I will now ask all the people here...."When will we cut and run from Iraq? ( And we will cut and run ). I know......I know.....We hear the President say "We will endure!! We will not turn our backs on the new Government of Iraq!! So I say again....When will we leave Iraq? ( Of course it will be in Defeat ). So when are we going to eat Crow? Any idea??

if Bush was not involved in the planning and financing of 9/11, then why would he have let his buddy Osama's relatives silently slip out of the country by plane shortly after 9/11 when all other aircraft was ordered to remain on the ground. If Bush had no involvement with 9/11, then why did he find it necessary to help the relatives of the supposed 9/11 mastermind ??
