no matter which side of the immigration debate you are on the only solution to the problem is to document all illegal immigrants so they can pay taxes...with the war in iraq costing 300+billion so far and deficits as far as the eye can see and social security in trouble one day we will be damn glad they are here....if you agree you can collect your ss check.....if you disagree i hope you made good investments with your minimum wage job.

Why some countries continue to ban Swastika? just because Hitler used it? it is my religious symbol( it is different from Nazi) i want to wear it like everybody wear there religious symbol

Stem cell research is definitely a positive on social life. Why did Bush veto it? Why forsake nuclear energy when it's the only option we have on the table once petroleum is used up? Other than nuclear radiation. Who else agrees?!

Help me to understand all the hate for this president...What are the issues that make President Bush such a terrible president...

I understand people want our soldiers home...and many hate that he has love for God and is not ashamed to say so, and he appears to have morals...

but what else is there.... please help me to understand why people seem to detest this president so much ...i am not that knowledgeable about politics... is this all about the war really?? what has he done or not done?? (forgive me for my ignorance)

This scenario is completely hypothetical but I would be interested in the opinion of current and former police officers on how they would handle the situation.

Assume you respond to a complaint in which a very rare, very expensive parrot was stolen from a residence. The owner of the parrot is somewhat of a recluse and lives alone; his only steady companion for the last 20 years has been his beloved pet parrot. The owner is distraught over losing his pet.

As you invesitgate the crime an unreliable confidential informant tells you that an ex-con living up the street from the victim stole the bird and will be reselling it to a wealthy collector. Circumstantial evidence tells you that the bird is still in the ex-con's house but you have no way of knowing when the exchange to the collector will be made. You are personally convinced this guy is guilty but don't have sufficient grounds for a search warrant.

What do you do?

Anyone that lives in New York - do you disagree with the release of the World Trade Center movie? Do you feel it's okay to release it at a later date?
Just NOT 5 years from the time it happened.

If you don't live in New York - what is your point of view on this situation? I hear a lot of people that DON'T live in NY want to see this...
But, I as a New Yorker - I would have to speak for most of us and say....It's way too early for this.

Why is it, that people who were in the military and couldn't hack it feel the need to bash the military once they're out. Just because some people can't deal with the demands, doesn't mean that others should have to put up with the unpatriotic comments of others. How would you suggest dealing with jerks that are a detriment and embarassment to the USA?
