my fiance is from U.K. and i'm a U.S. citizen. i am getting confused by different websites telling me what visa he'll need to get and stuff. so i am wondering....is it better for him to get a fiance visa and come here to get married or is it better for us to get married in U.K. then deal with him getting a spouse visa? or would it be easier for him to get a tourist visa and us to get married here when he comes? so confused! any info is helpful! thanks

Ok i just want to know what you guys thought about illegal immigration. Can you explain what the whole deal is about? If you are for or against, you at least have to tell me one thing the opposing team has got right. So i can see it clearly without any bias to one side. I just want to know the whole story from both perspectives.

Be nice, no insults. I just want you to present me with evidence of your statements. If your going to say something, you have to back it up. You have to be factual.

I dont want to hear anything about "lets keep them" or "send them back", i just want to hear facts. Thats the only way you will win the case without being prejudice to one side or the other. The only way youll win is if you keep it clean and make a good case about it.

Educate me. Good luck ;)

Certain fields in the government consist of lieing, decieving, and essentially analysing how to kill mass population or destroy internal infrastructers. Valid life is so much more than death, but in some qwerky way, death is what brings out the most extreme emotions of love, loyalty, commraderie. It brings out the deepest depths of the human soul. What is moral today? Is killing wrong if it is to save other's lives? Is lieing wrong to protect other's? How do you answer those questions? Is it right to committ a wrong for life? Is it okay to kill to preserve another's life?

I'm trying to look up both State (Michigan) and Federal Appeal Cases online, but cannot find access to cases before 1996. Is it possible to access pre-1996 cases online? Some examples:
People v Broilo, 58 Mich App 547 (1975): Pepole v Staffney, 70 Mich App 737 (1976): People v Leighty, 161 Mich App 565,572 (1987): Coolidge v New Hampshire, 403 US 443: 91 s Ct 2022: 29L Ed 2d 564 (1971). Also, is it possible to look up federal cases in what I call a "prisoner" format? For example: United States v Nino, 878 F. 2d 101,103 (3d Cir, 1989): United States v Kauffman, 109 F.3d 186, 190 (3d Cir 1997)?

"A new brain-computer-interface technology could turn our brains into automatic image-identifying machines that operate faster than human consciousness....

Darpa, or the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, is funding research into the system with hopes of making federal agents' jobs easier. The technology would allow hours of footage to be very quickly processed, so security officers could identify terrorists or other criminals caught on surveillance video much more efficiently."

Do you believe Bush will restore peace, prosperity and liberty to America before he leaves office or do you think he'll just leave his mess for the next guy?

Looks the "the Great Unitor" has pretty much split the country.

There is no terrorism in poor places like Latin America, most of Africa, Asia.

Terrorists like Mohammad Atta were from well-to-do families. Mohammad Atta was an engineer who moved from Egypt to Germany. Only when he began going to mosques (in Germany!) did he become a terrorist.

The 19 hijackers were given visas to come to America because we accept people of every country. Those 19 hijackers did not come from poverty.

Neither did the 4 young men who bombed the London trains and bus. Neither did the men who bombed the Madrid trains.

Poverty does not cause terrorism.

Islam causes terrorism.

You don't see poor people in Ecuador blowing up buildings, buses and trains.

According to reports she won't talk to Hezbollah nor Syria.
If she is going there to support Israel, we already know that.
I used to defend Bush sometimes, but I am starting to at least listen to the 'Bushbashers'. Anybody else out there starting to feel the same? Or willing to logically defend this blatant alienation of the rest of the world?

I was charged with a misdemeanor, over 5 years ago. I paid a $100 fine. The crime was 'disorderly conduct'.

How long will this follow me?

Everyone was recently checked (those of us that already work here included). Some people got dismissed. I am still here.

Am I still here because is misdemeanor is insignificant, or because it was 5 year ago?

A RN worked for AK DOC in 2005 and became involved with my brother who was an inmate. He was a "patient" and under care and custody of DOC. My brother served almost 20 years in prison. He was to be released in a couple of months. He committed suicide in late May '06 due to relationship problems with the ex-DOC nurse/"girlfriend."

I filed a complaint with the AK Department of Commerce Community and Economic Development/board of nursing, and I was notified today that they would not pursue the complaint due to "The statues and regulations that govern the practice of nursing in the State of Alaska do not prohibit a licensed nurse from becoming personally involved with a patient or inmate."

Nothing will bring my brother back. I know she violated some guidelines, what are they specifically? I live in AZ, but this took place in Alaska.

She abused her power/authority as an employee. My brother was in no emotional and mental state to get involved with a person of authory. Thanks.

A police officer stops a car for speeding and there are four occupants; two men in the front seat and two in the back seat. The officer notices a small baggie of marijuana on the console between the two men in the front seat. Can he arrest all four for possession? If not, who gets arrested? Would it make a difference if it was a more serious drug such as cocaine rather than marijuana?
