If your answer is yes then are you willing to provide protection for the families of these terrorists to protect them from being slaughtered while the witness gives public testimony? If not then what is the likelyhood of the witness cooperating with the US Government? Also keep in mind the Massaoui trial lasted 4 years all at your expense.

Its there a connection to Microsoft doing really bad right now and Warren Buffet giving Bill Gates all that $? I know it is for charity but when was the last time you gave money to a charity and felt like it would get to the people it was sponsoring. If the president benefits from being "a war time president" in a never-ending "War on Terror" in that he can suspend the Constitution at will, use "national security" to conduct normally illegal operations, investigate anyone and everyone in blanket searches without a warrant, grant people and corporations immunity to investigation, torture as he sees fit, etc. then why would he ever seek a peaceful resolution for anything?

Any kind of "peace" with anyone would be immediate grounds for him to lose these extra-ordinary powers. So what would his motivation be?

Are we now doomed to be in a perpetual state of war with newer and better fascist laws for eternity, all for the sake of security against our perpetual enemies?

They have taken away most of the smoker's rights but they keep promoting drinking. if ANYONE doesn't think the teenagers won't get an adult to get them beer or liquer they better think again! I don't drink and I don't like sitting with people that do while I'm trying to enjoy a meal or any other time. They should make drinking and no-drinking areas. I could smoke a whole pack of cigaretts and go out and drive a car without my senses being impaired but there are people who drink a few drinks and get in a car and cause an accident and some kill people. Why don't they put sky high taxes and resrtictions on booze like they do on cigarettes? This makes no sense to me.

ok around 96' a father and a son killed a man they hid him about 2 days later the cops found the dead man and the father admitted to the crime and the son got in prison for being there.
now the son is out and the father is still in............ if the son admits to the crime well can he get his father out of prison?? or will he go back to jail? or will they not do anything about it.?
(these peepl are totally inisent. the murder was all defense)

Smoking is no more harmful than drinking and will the government ever put a ban on drinking? I doubt it. They say smoking harms other people around you but a lot of crime is committed under the influence so that's gotta be more harmful. You don't have a smoke and want to go out and take the world on and if you're smoking weed you're probably hiding behind the sofa in a state of paranoia so won't even leave the house! Don't you think the govenrment have got it all wrong as usual?
