I had a hamster once. He was hudeny. As my brother just wrote. Well he died. And he was so sweet. Now i think i might get a dwarf but mom says no.

My teddy bear hamster was just recently sick, i took him to the vet and when i got him back, i noticed that some of his fur was longer than other parts and it appears to be ruffled in some places near his tail. He looks like he has wings coming off his side. Is that normal?

I have fallen in love with this breed and am in america cos my husbands in the miltary and am due to go back home to england in a yr, is there any tennessee breeders anyone knows of, cos I can't afford to take mine home it's 8,000!!

We found one of our crabs dead out of its shell.. what could have happend,, its shell wasnt cracked at all.. and no other crab took over the shell.. its empty.. we wonder if it got pulled out by one of the kids??? is that possible, i think it would have pinched them...havent asked the kids yet because if they didnt do it they would be heart broken and if they did they would never confess, and in my eyes have some phycological stuff going on... so i want to approch it delicatly, The real question is , Is it possiable to pull them out of there shells?????

I have a 5 gallon tank with a screen top. I don't want to put fish in it, but I want to have something. As for pets, I have two cats, a 10g tank with four fish, a betta, and a snow corn snake. Its been recommended I get an invertebrate.

What do you all think. I don't mind if its just one animal or two of the same kind. (if the animal needs companionship to stay healthy)

I would like an animal that does not smell, make a lot of noise and for it to be either a land animal or an animal that uses both land and water. No tarantulas, scorpions, or very small insects(like crickets) My grandmother would throw them out in fright.

Any suggestions?

My paint stallion got a little bit of a runny eye a couple days ago not bad at all and i checked it out and kept an eye on it. Today he didn't open it very wide and i got it open and noticed a whitish cloudy area that seems to be off to the side of his eye. He can definately still see from it. I don't think i'll be able to get a vet out until at the earliest Tuesday - I live in cow country where all the vets are cow vets and will not leave their Christmas on account of a horse.
Could someone give me some ideas of what it may be?

It happened yesterday. I was giving Bobby, my German
Sheppard his morning walk when he took off chasing Fluffy the neighbor's cat. He wasn't able to catch Fluffy but when I called Bobby back he kept running into things like the fire hydrant and a tree. Bobby couldn't find his way back to me, so I went after him and when I held his head up I notice that both his contact lens were gone. Bobby's optometrist (eye doctor) is out of town over the holidays so there no way I can replace them . Bobby seems to be miserable. Any help with this problem, would be very much appreciated.

my welsh buckskin stallion is has a beautiful dark summer coat, but to keep at his best during the show season he needs to be heavier in condition. what can i feed him that wont cause all those annoying black hairs coming through his body coat? i've kept him away from lucerne, and all molasses based feeds. apparently it is protein that causes it, how do i fatten him up a bit without protein?

I purchased a syrian hamster today for my kids xmas ,while taking it from the small box I got from the pet shop and puting it in the cage its going to live in I neerly lost a finger and it was hyper to say the least .How can these beasts be tamed without loosing my fingers.It is a young hamster , should I let in settle in its new home for a while?

so anyways i really love my horse hes 21 this year and very old i use a pair of spuras when i ride him but refuse to use them on any other horse ....is it wierd i want to burry one spur with him and keep one for memories???

okay so i have just gotten a fish and im tryig to prepare the bowl. It is a bowl not a take cause that was what i was recomended for my little fish. okay so i need to know how long i can wait until i can put my fish into the bowl. And what do i do in the meantime while my fish is stuck in this small bag?
