They are about 15 days old, can I touch them or the mother would be mad if I do that???

I raised Gerbils when I was a kid, I remember I only picked them up after they had hair, and their eyes were open..be gentle they are fragile..

Always wash your hands before you handle the pups – though gerbils usually don't mind the smell of their people, foreign smells such as soot, strange gerbils, stale litter, etc. could make the gerbils reject or even attack the babies.

i had gerbils and i wouldn't pick up the babies because the female gerbil bit my fingure which got infected,anyways they didn't stay much longer in my house.
