In parts of Europe and Asia, eating the monkey's brain out of his opened skull is suppose to arouse sex drive. Is this something we should be doing to an animal which shares so much of our DNA?

I was wondering what kind of bit I should use. My horse has a tender mouth but needs a little more control than a plain snaffle offers. I'm using a slow twist full cheek snaffle right now, and would like to go to a milder bit. Any suggestions? ( i ride jumpers fyi)

Hi,

Today my grandfather purchased some Pygmy Goats, and none of us know much about them. We purchased mom and baby along with another baby who does not belong to her. Okay my questions are: How long do they live?
How old are they when you consider them adults? When do you wean the young? Can they whelp okay? How long before they give birth from the time of breeding? How old do you breed them? Do they have heat cycles or do they just get pregnant at anytime? After they have babies how long before they can breed again at the minium? just give us some info about these goats.
See after we bought mom he said he bred her to a billy and its been about a month since and she looks fat like shes preg. So i really need to know this. Oh also when is a male goat able to father litters?

I've been trying to adopt a dog and have tried with different animal shelters. I fill out their "application" on line and they don't respond for months!!?? Then...by that time ...the dog I'm interested in, is dead or gone. They don't list their phone numbers or addresses so I can't drop in. It's like they don't want to adopt them out? Any Rescue People that can answer why? I know their busy, but I'd think they'd have someone assigned to responded to the applications so they can adopt them out.

I have a 12 yr old Appy barrel horse that is hard mouthed. I am currently riding him in a med. port curb with cheeks that swivel. He is very hard to control no matter what bit i use. I am a light handed rider. I have tryed several other bits on him like a D ring snaffle, Full cheek snaffle, Grazer bit. I have also tryed a hackamore and a side pull on him. He is getting so hard to control that i don't want to ride him anymore. How can i get him to give to the bit instead of fighting it? Should i be using a different bit?

I have a female Dwarf Bunny, she is 3 months old and not spayed. She is not a "teen" yet so she is not "spraying". She uses her litter box usually but when she is out of the cage she hops up on my bed and pees on it. I've tried putting another litter box on the bed while she is out but she never uses it.

She does this maybe once or twice a week. We both only have 1 room to live in because I am in a college dorm room so I cant just put her in a different room.

What should I do?

I am moving into a senior apt. complex that is asking a $400 @ pet deposit in order for me to have my 12 yr. old cat and 2 longhaired Chihuahuas with me. I suffer from bipolar disorder and have no family near me at all. The apt.deposit was only $330 . Since I am on a very limited income, $1,200 up front to keep my pets seems a bit much. My babies are currently staying with a friend and have been for 6 weeks now. I miss them terribly and am looking at being without their company for another 4 to 6 months. Such a long time is neccessary for me to save ahead this much money. Any help, advice or direction that would help me shorten this time will be greatly appreciated. My animals thank you and I thank you for all of your help and answers. Linda Taylor 7367 Central Ave. apt.212 Highland, Ca. 92346/ phones are 909-355-3981 or 909-863-1650. Again thank you and God Bless you all.

I am pregnant so have been a little more emotional than usual and find myself crying every now and then. I started noticing that my cat always come up to my face when I cry and rubs his head on mine, purrs and tries licking my tears. Do they know when we are upset and are they trying to make us feel better?
