No m'am. You can't make your horse do anything. As much as you think you do, he does it all out of wanting to please you. Horses are easy to train because they know you are ahead of them so they want to please you.

well not really but i used to show this horse that would not drink at the shows no matter how long we were there so i ended up just taking a water bottle that has the snap openy thingy and squirting it in her mouth!! :( i felt bad but i knew she needed it...

you can lead him to water and hope he drinks it. You can't force a animal to drink if it doesn't want to. like humans...

well. if he will follow, then you can lead.
but the drinking.
he may or may not drink it.
that is his decision.
but if you insist, then you could have a vet sedate him, and stick a soft plastic tube up his nose and into his stomach, and pump water or mineral oil.
Although I wouldn't reccomend that.
