My cat is so mean! His name is jax and he is about 5 and kinda tubby, and really big. Hes really mean to my dog whenever he wants to play, and he only comes around my family when hes wants out or wants food. one time he killed 2 birds in one day, and always kills mice and stuff. One time he had a chipmunk outside, he broke its back and as soon it got far enough away, he'd pounce on it and beat it up. he did the same to about 3 other chipmunks, one of who i found at more door still alive, but my dad had to kill him. then he badly beat a mouse which i cared for until he died of his injuries. but the worst of all was probably when i just came back from fishing. i seen jax run across the road, and i seen an alive chipmunk in the middle of the road. i walked up to it, and it was still alive. a car was coming, so i ran off the road (i didn't think that the car would hit into him, because he was sorta on the other side of the road, but the car hit into him, killing him right in front of me.

Well we were just coming back from a four-wheeler ride with my brother, and i walking up to my house and i found a the cutest little mouse, barely breathing on more doorstep, most likely left to die by my cat. He was just a baby mouse. Anyways i took him in and put some warm water on him to hopefully wake him up, then i put him in a container, but of course i didn't close the lid. He started to breath, and even shake a little bit. I thought for sure he was getting better. I had him for about 4 hours then i put him outside, and when i got to him a hour later, and he died. How could he have died?

I recently adopted a severely overweight guinea pig. She does not like to go on walks or do any physical activity. She is a cage with another guinea that is young and eats a lot (as she needs to), so food control is...well...sort of a problem.

I wondered if cavies could swim - it would be easier on Penny's joints. I've heard the expression "you look like a drowned rat" and so I didn't know if rodents could swim or not.

Why are they so ghastly huge? How long have they been around? The species and all, are they near-prehistoric or what? Judging by their size, I'd say pretty long. Are they related to the Dodo bird, because the beak and body shape seem very similar.
