i have a water dragon that eats crickets and mealworms, and i put a mealworm in my hamsters cage and he ate it, i just wanna know if its ok.

It's foolish to think that a hamster wouldn't occasionally snack on an insect in the wild for the extra protein, but they are, really, herbivores and shouldn't be getting these things on a regular basis due to the difficulties in digesting them.

So they obviously -can-, but they -shouldn't-. =)

No, they really should NOT be eating meal worms or crickets. Stick to seed mixes, and some fresh stuff like carrots and cucumbers.

It doesn't sound like a good idea....

By the way, water dragons have to have veggies, too. And UVB lighting.

It wont hurt it, but they need a carrot chip or dried corn or hay or prepared pellets instead.

hamsters are usually vegetarians, the meal worms won't hurt it..I had a dog that LOVED hot hot cherry peppers, you never know.......

no it is meat .............. they get sick
