I see so much hatred towards PETA on here and I would like to know where it all comes from. I don't have time to research and I want to know.

I tried it all. I tried changing her toys regularly, playing with her more, gave her wood things to chew on. Last night I went as far as to brush the bars with vinegar. (I know acids are bad for them but I'm getting desprate). She only chews the bars that's the door of the cage. I want to keep her in the critter trail 3 if I can.

why do some people keep saying that cat fleas are different to dog fleas, they are not, they are all the same thing, they are not fussy, they don't care who they feed on it just depends who's walking past when they are hungry

I just bought a 6 month old Filly. This is the first horse I have had since I was a child. My husband and his dad has worked with colts alot.
I would like to do as much as I can alone, because my husband works in the oil fields and gone 2 weeks at a time. We have worked with her about 4 hrs already and she is doing great.
I get as close to her as I can, and let her smell me and she is doing good with leading, she can use more work on that, but a few more hours and she will have no problems.
I`m not comfortable enough around her when she gets spooked and I know she picks up on this..
Any advice about working with her would be greatly appriaciated.

Have a blessed day!!

ok my friend has leased a horse for a year but in the contract it states she is not allowed to put a wind collar on this horse to prevent him from sucking - so now we have a potential problem in the stable as he's constantly doing it around in particular my younger horse - we have no where else to stable him but Im worried my horse will start copying him - and also its just bloody annoying! Thankfully I've never had the pleasure of owning a sucker so does anyone have any ideas on how to stop him doing this - without a collar! Ive tried creoting the doors etc but this doesnt stop him. Any ideas appreciated! thanks!!

A programme last night investigated whether dogs were committing suicide by jumping off a bridge but the conclusion was that they were chasing scents.
The issue was also raised in that famous episode of The Royale Family where Dave claimed his mum and dad's dog had committed suicide by jumping off a balcony.
We all know animals have a range of emotions similar to humans so is it possible an animal will commit suicide if it's depressed enough?

Also, I need to find a way to train him to use a litter box when I let him out of his cage for exercise, and to clean out his cage. Are they very difficult to litter box train? Any suggestions?

It really is cute, but, he really can't be using the spare bedroom as a big litter box. I mean, I cleaned the litter box and now he decided it's his bed. He is just laying in it, digging making it comfortable, then flopping down, it really is cute. Maybe I should put a new box in the spare room . Good idea? What do you think?

A friend that I have said it's a risk to add a female to the pack of 2 males, but I want to at least try to breed them. I figured someone who knows something about sugar gliders would answer my question about this. If I add a female to the two males do you think they will fight over her or should I add 2 females so they each have 1?

I have not been on this site very long but I have noticed a lot of rude and hateful answers to the questions people post about their pets. I can understand the need to get the message across about spaying/neutering/and vaccinations but do you people have to do it in such a nasty way? Not everybody can be high and mighty or have a pocket full of money, but can they atleast get some credit for trying to help thier pets or a stray that wondered their way? Heaven help those of you who might need some advice one day as you may get the same back that you gave out. I admire those with a good heart that try to do right no matter the circumstance. Does anyone agree?

We have 3 adorable guinea pigs that we bought a couple of years ago, but now we need to find a new home for them. I have developed a horrible allergy to them, which triggers off my asthma. We really would like to keep them together because they are like sisters. We live near Albuquerque, so if anyone knows of a good home, please let me know. Thanks.

I need help convincing my parents to get em a horse. I have already considered all costs. I would be able to work off board at the stable, and they cover the costs of feed, hay, water, shavings. I would be able to pay for the yearly vet visits and teeth floating. I am certified in trimming of horse hooves, so that takes off $35 every other month. I have over $500 saved in case of an emergency, and I will always deposit into my savings when I am paid. The intial purchase price of the horse I want is $1200. And this price is a great price for this horse. He is amzingly trained and willing to please. I have bonded so much with him. I want some ideas on how to convince my parents to get him. I know they have enough money, because they have said so, but they won't tell me why I can't get a horse. My dad said to talk with my mom and go by what she says, and everything will work out. I don't get this! Please help!!
