Other than dog, cat and fish. I need suggestions for pets that are interactive. Fish is not interactive of course. What are bird types that make good pets, I mean that don't bite, smell and easy to handle?

I have 3 hampsters and I found the one covered up and its dying... My question is what would cause it to die? It isnt very old and its habitat is perfectly fine.. My fiance and I suspected it though because it stopped eating.. Any ideas what would be wrong for it to die? Could this affect my other hampsters? Its laying there and breating slowing, with its eyes shut... I hope it goes soon so it can stop suffering.. Does this just happen out of nowhere..?? Plz answer.. Thanks!

I've had my hampster for 6 months or so and he was always happy, running on his wheel, etc. We had to move him to the basement a little over 2 weeks ago and since then he doesn't run on his wheel. All he does is eat and when he wakes up he comes out of his hut and sits in the corner where he pees and sleeps some more. Is there anything I can do? I can't keep him upstairs anymore, why is he acting this way and can I make him happy again?

My mare is obese. I think she gained a lot of weight as a result of eating whenever she wanted (ALWAYS) i think her previous owners kept her in a stall of barn and fed her limited food, and now that I have her there is no stalls to keep her in so she can't over eat.

I give her treats occasionally but always healthy ones like carrots or apples.

Does anyone know of a way i can slim her down so i can run barrels on her?

Thanks to all

I had to pay $97.00 for a round bale of coastal last week. I couldn't believe it. The square bales of coastal are $9.50 and a square bale of alfalfa is around $12.00. I live in Texas, close to Dallas. When will this ever end??
