Okay , it`s probably a silly question, and maybe someone is even thinking of Eve and the snake, and saying, "thats where our troubles began talking with animals, but I can asure you it was the disobedience that caused the problem, and the wrong choice that was made. So much for that.

My daughter's cat came to get me when she had kittens… (she wasn’t spayed in time) I put my hand down, she took it in her mouth and led me to her bed and wouldn't let me leave the room. Dad was really amazed. I stayed with her and helped deliver her babies. She was a beautiful, sweet calico. We also had a Siamese rat with respiratory health problems. One day I heard the most horrible breathing! It was frightening. I felt I couldn't breath too and could literally feel her panic! I realized I could do the same as when my son had asthma. I turned the shower on for steam, then held and petted her. Time crawled by, but she slowly cleared up and began to breathe normally. When she was better, she Frantically licked my hand. I wondered if she was thanking me, but didn't think she was that smart or communicative. When it happened a second time, I knew she understood I had helped her and she was extremely grateful! Animals are MUCH smarter than many people realize.

Do you have a story too?

Why do people abuse their animals or abandon them. I just don't understand why people can be so cruel. I've seen so many terrible cases and some don't even realize there's anything wrong? Why do they do this to these beautiful animals that only know pain and suffering.

I have a 5 year old brother that can't understand why our guinea pig died. We tried to explain that when things get sick they die but he still asks us why the guinea pig died. He also looks for the pig. The guinea pig died because it escaped out of its cage and we couldn't find it anywhere and a couple of weeks after it was gone we found it in the basement with maggots on it and it was dead. My brother will look down in the basement and ask where is the guinea pig. We tell him that he died and my brother can't understand why. So I guess my question is how do I get him to understand why the guinea pig died?

I live in York County and had two guinea pigs. Last year one got mildly sick ( crusted nose, weezy breathing) so we took her to the Emergency Vet Clinic across from Spring Garden in the middle of the night. They looked her over, and decided she needed an antibiotic shot. Prior to the shot she was still walking around, but a half hour after the shot she went into convulsions and died. When we called the clinic to "tell" (actually call them every foul word that came to mind) them what happened, they said they had little experiance with guinea pigs( which they had NOT told us before). The other guinea pig was kept in the same cage and never got sick.(we still have her) The piggies were not old and usually healthy. Did the vets kill my piggie?

I would like to know an easy, small, pet to care for.
I would also like to find something that it doesn't cost hundreds of dollars to move... because I will be moving in a few months... I know it sounds crazy but I would really like a pet to keep me company... seeing as I will be moving, and am bad at making new friends, and will probably be alone for quite some while lol.

I'm buying a nice hutch soon for outside/inside use. Right now one is inside, and one outside in a hutch. But I'm not sure if I should have them in the basement, how would they get air, is it safe? Or in the extra bedroom, but it can get really warm in there during the day. Any suggestions??

I live near an area where their have been complaints about deer becoming aggresive and chasing people on the walking trails at this park. Do they do that because of some reason or should I start packing a big club on the way out to my car and when I go for walks. I live in illinois.

She is one of a kind. A leader and a caring cat. though she doesnt like being called a cat.

Shes there for me when I need her. She comforts me when I am sad. Shes there for me when Im happy.

She uses the litter box everytime and covers it up when shes done.

She makes bisquits on my chest and drools all over me.

She will only eat MEOW MIS and Kitten Kabootles

She allows my dog to live with us ( I think she just renews his lease every few months)

All the neighborhood cats love her

How can I make her 10th Birthda special?

Heres her picture
